The tour itself was very nice and the guide very friendly and knowledgeable. The dispatcher & staff however were not honest and neither was the booking information posted through trip Advisor website. The tour was promoted as a night tour with Hotel Pickup which I paid the extra for and was required to select one of the approved pickup hotel locations. It was not my actual hotel but the closest to me so we did have to walk to get picked up. Problem was, no one showed to pick us up at the time mentioned in the confirmation email and when i called, the staff told me that they don't offer hotel pickup anymore. They provided me the name and number of the dispatcher and informed me I would need to take an Uber to get to the tour starting point and Uber ourselves also back to the hotel afterwards but that we would be reimbursed. I corresponded several times with the dispatcher who assured me I would be reimbursed by start of the new week which never happened. Very dishonest marketing and customer service.

We had taken an evening tour with another company about 8 years ago. While realizing that times have changed we found this tour lacking in a few areas.
The driver/guide pushed the Black Lives Matter concept over and over again.
Never got to the Roosevelt memorial or the WW2 memorial that were highlights of our previous trip.

Good place to visit but does have a lot of walking . Great view and lovely gardens. Other buildings interesting to see.

The tour was great, Bobby was a very knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide!!/ we were informed at the airport when coming that we would not be picked up at our hotel which was why we picked this tour/ cost us $20 more for Uber rides to pickup and back to hotel

Dr. Yohannes was fabulous! So knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyable! We were the only three on the tour due to cancellations! We so very much appreciated he did not cancel altogether! Instead, we ended up with a wonderful private tour! I would recommend this tour 100 times over! If you have not seen the monuments at night, you should!!

This tour was described as providing bottle water and being a 4 hr tour.
The water was generic, hot and stored in a dirty empty dry cooler.
It was raining, not the operators fault.
We missed two very important monuments: FDR and Vietnam Veterans memorial. He didn't stop or discuss the Washington monument, and he failed to describe many of the Masonic connections in the architecture details of many building, including the capital. He didn't discuss when the light is on or off on the capital and its meaning.
He missed a lot. I recommend paying $10 more for a big bus tour.

The new museum was excellent. I wish we had more time to spend there. It was disappointing not to be able to go into the mansion. We should have been told in advance that it wasn't open and the price should have been discounted.

As this is a night tour, the areas being visited should have more lighting. It was a challenge seeing some of the statues in the night, as well as the walkways. The tour was a little rushed and there weren't much stops for pictures, so a lot of the pictures were taken from inside the bus.

We had 4 generations of our family on the night tour. So nice to have hotel pick-up, included our 3yo grandkid, and great grandma with wheelchair. We saw all the sites, very low crowds, driver/tour guide was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

Our guide was very knowledgable and attentive with older visitors. Nice long tour with lots of sites. Saw a couple places i had not seen before. Well worth the cost

We had a bad experience with this tour company in May. We paid $150 for 3 people for what was advertised as a 4-4 1/2 hour tour. There were 2 other couples on the van with us. The tour only lasted 3 hours as we were picked up an hour late and dropped off a half hour early. For most of the stops the driver stayed in the vehicle and shared very little info about each attraction. We were not happy with this tour as we thought we received much less than was advertised. There are other evening tours that you can find on the web. My recommendation is to pick out a couple that look good to you, call them to find out more info and go with the one you feel most comfortable with. The evening sights are beautiful and well worth spending a little extra to get a reputable tour company. My advice is to stay away from Legends Tour.

Hi, I am looking at the Washington DC Night Tour with Hotel Pickup, but my hotel is in Tyson's Corner (not downtown). Would it be possible to be picked up at a downtown hotel?
