This was a great area to let younger kids run and take a break from standing in lines for rides. A fun and shaded area with lots of climbing opportunities

This part of California Adventure is a brilliant idea!! Our four grandkids, as well as the adults, played, climbed, slid, and the kids ziplined for at least an hour. It was spacious, uncrowded and inviting. It was hard to keep track of the kids but they'd pop up high above us or run past on the trails.
I wish there was a place like this in Disneyland. Yes, we go for the rides and attractions but sometimes little ones (and big ones) need a place to run around as opposed to standing in lines. This was awesome!

Entre tanta atracción que da vueltas está bien cambiar un poco aquí. Una zona sombría de árboles con tirolina, escalada y redes entre árboles ideal para los más pequeños.

Kids ran like crazy and burnt off a lot of energy. A great place to stop and have an adult break, ahhaha. I would recommend setting a meet up place for you and kids to meet at as it is very easy to loose site of them

We've been here a few times before many years ago, but this time both our 9 year old and 3 year old loved this place. They did everything except the flying fox (as there was a long queue). They loved the rope walkways, the climbing wall, the slides and the animal sounds.
Whilst we were there we met Christmas Goofy as well.
It took a lot of effort to drag the kids away from here and they wanted to come back (but we ran out of time). Plan for a good hour here if you have kids.. Luckily there are lots of places for parents to sit and wait while they play..

We stopped in here on our recent trip. My kids are older and didn't want to meet Santa, but we were able to still explore this area without getting in the Santa queue.
My 15 year old son (very active kid) was dragging his feet and was ready to leave the park, but his face lit up as soon as he entered this area. He and his younger sister (11) took off, exploring all the nets and climbing structures. It's so fun to have a place for bigger kids to explore.
They even were able to spend a lot of time on the rock wall, which was pretty cool. Most of the people in the area were in the line for santa, so all the ropes/bridges/slides and other areas were pretty empty when we were there.
Anyway, it's well worth your time to stop in here. It's a very cool environment even if you don't have kids!

nos sacaron antes del parque sin avisar que cerrarían temprano, por lo que no nos organizamos y no pudimos conocer y desquitar el precio del boleto. pregunten al cast member antes de entrar ya que no avisan por otros medios.

This place is so neat and has so much to offer! We were there for the Oogie Boogie Party and it was totally transformed into an eerie fog laden haunt. Soooo cool!!!!

This gem of a location is a parent's dream. An enclosed attraction that encourages the kids to roam and explore in a safe environment.

It might have been a long time ago now but are the disney characters Kenai and Koda still around in Disney California Adventure Park or anywhere else?

Hi I did not see these characters at all in the parks. I went 2 years in a row 2017 & 2018. In fact it is just the usuals Pluto, Mickey, Minnie . I did see Chip n Dale in the Redwood Trail. There were also some marvel characters and buzz , the Incredibles. Anyway have a fun time in Disneyland.
When you get to the main entrance of the Redwood Challange Trail do you need to show your pass to the staff when you enter?

Nope! There is someone standing there, but it's more to make sure kids don't run off without their parents. It's a lot of fun!
I am 25 years old can I still walk the Redwood Creek walk trail by avoiding the zip line because that is only for children up to 13.

Yes. There are many different paths and such. The zip line is in it's own enclosed area within this feature...you may walk around it. :) Hope this helps!
Thank you for your reply.I am 25 years old and Me and my mom are going to America so is it possible for me and my mom to walk around the forest trail except for the zip line because that is for an age limit only.

Yes you can definitely walk around the entire area. The age-limit zip line is just a small portion that is easily walked around.
The Redwood Creek challenge trail can it be for anyone for all ages?

It's like a park. There are slides and climbing nets. The zip line is for kids under 5 feet (and I think they have to be 36 inches). It's a great place to decompress and let kids run. Adults can go too, but you can't ride the zip line.

No, it is not free. You have to have a pass to get into California Adventure. It is included in that fee.

My 19m/o daughter had a blast there... as long as your son can walk he'll enjoy being able to have a little freedom crawling through the hollow log or walking across the rope bridges or even going down the slides if he is 32". Definitely worth a stop!
