I visited the spa on March 6, 2014. After almost a week of traveling the bumpy unpaved road of the north side and swimming and diving, my lower back was a bit sore - 90 min massage with Misty for $110 US was perfect fix. Spa is air conditioned so was very comfortable escape from the heat and humidity. I am from the northeast US so I thought the price was just right. The facility is a bit old but everything seemed clean. I would go back again.

Massages were very good, friendly, very small location. Couples massages were done in 2 different rooms, the divider was taken down. A little disappointing!

We did a couple's massage and the massuse was phenomonal. Prices are a little high for the island, but the massage was top-notch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great, relaxing massage.

Wired location but actually very pleasant. Air conditioned which is nice in heat. Wonderfully relaxing spa, refreshing and serene, good service.

Black orchid has some AMAZING body treatments and packages and they are SO reasonable!!!!! the atmosphere inside is relaxing, and the therapist i had was a sweetheart- the ONLY reason that this did not get a five star rating was that the location jars you back into reality as soon as you leave. It is right in the middle of town (loud & busy), and it is on the second floor of a concrete walk-up building. Needless to say- the reverie is quickly burst... though it is certainly nice while it lasts!! :o)

Had a very relaxing massage experience for a decent price. The establishment is very clean and nice.

Had the pleasure of getting both a massage and a facial at black orchid. The massage was excellent, just what i needed to get into island mode. it was so nice i went back another day for a facial, and bought some hand made products to bring home. Excellent day spa

My wife, Marilou, and I scheduled a couples massge along with a sunset cruise on August 4th. I must say I was not looking foward to the massage, as I wanted to go parasailing instead, but relented so my wife and I could spend some "quality time together". Having said that, I am very happy my wife was able to convince me to go, because the massage was probably the most relaxing part of our trip. Don't get me wrong, the whole trip to San Pedro and Belize in general was amazing, but the ladies at Black Orchid Spa really did a fantastic job for both of us. I had been having a lot of pain in my right shoulder prior to the massage and was asked prior to if I had any problem areas. Rebecca did a fantastic job on my shoulder and haven't felt the pain there since. And the added sunset cruise later in the afternoon/evening was also relaxing and enjoyable for both of us. We would highly recommend you take the hour or so while you are in San Pedro to get a massage at Black Orchid Spa. You won't be disappointed....

I have been to many different places and have tried different levels of massages. I've had massages done at beautiful spa properties where you're really paying for the decor and ambiance and more hole-in-the-wall places where you're paying strictly for massage technique. I'll be honest with you....I didn't think Black Orchid provided much of a high-end spa decor/ambiance but BOY are their treatments incredible! I started with the coconut and peppermint body scrub then ended with a 90-minute massage. This was by far the BEST 90-minute massage I've ever received - and I've received quite a few. I loved both of my treatments so much I literally was hanging around afterwards because I didn't want to leave. If it wasn't for the fact that I already had plans for my last day in San Pedro I would have gladly booked another 90-minute massage. I only hope your treatments could be as wonderful as mine!!!!!
