It was a busy Saturday. Waitstaff was impersonal.The food was good.
We attempted to order a growler of Devil's Advocate, but were told to go down the street to their other location, as they were out of growlers. We didn't bother.

Great place for a brewski. After a day of seeing the sites in Amana this is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a nice cold beer. I really like their Schild Brau Amber on draft.

What a cute little brewery! The peach beer was amazing. Great outdoor area. So peaceful. The salesperson was awesome and we got to meet the brewer too!

If you drink American beer don't waste your money pale ale is so skunky it will leave you with bitter beer face the peach fuzz is not bad I just wouldn't buy it

I had the Wheat beer yesterday and was going to buy several cases to take home to share with friends but the Wheat beer had a very bitter after taste. It was not worth the $4.50 for a plastic cup and I would not serve this to my friends. Not sure why the beer had such a bitter after taste. It used to be very good, I might try again in a year or two.

We were there for lunch and photo workshop. The staff was very accommodating and food was good and reasonably priced.

We are staying in Amana and were hungry after the drive. We chose Millstream and Brou House. What a wonderful place for drinks and dinner.
Started off with some craft beers and when we got seated we were seated with two other couples at the same table. Awesome experience.
The pretzels are huge and very tasty. The bratwurst was also very good. I wish we lived closer because this is a great Hang out.

I’ve enjoyed going to the Amanas since I was a kid. I moved out of state a few years ago, and I still make it back to Millstream every time I visit Iowa. The beer, ambience, and staff are beyond amazing. Thank you!

Good beer, root beer, and cream soda. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. You can purchase mugs, glasses, and other souvenirs.

Hy-Vee doesn't have it. Fareway doesn't stock it. The only place to purchase this refreshing brew is at Millstream Brewing in Amana. While you're there, take a taste pull of their other brews and soft drinks.
On nice days, take it outdoors and enjoy on the outdoor deck. And coming soon (as I understand it) is a Millstream Brewing brat and beer restaurant/pub in the old Colony Inn.
Can't wait for that!

My family and I are planning on attending the tapping of the keg ceremony for Oktoberfest. This will be our first time in Amana, so I have no idea how big this event is or what to expect. Should we arrive early? Are reservations necessary? Is the ceremony family friendly? Do we need to park somewhere other than Millstream's parking lot? Any tips and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!
