We went to Morocco in March and are still thinking of the wonderful trip there. Morocco is a very lovely country with stunning landscape from the sea, to the mountain and to the desert. People are very kind and hospitable. We had an amazing experience in Morocco thanks to Hassan. From initial planning to the airport pickup, to every stop that we made in the journey, Hassan provided us with a wonderful 12-day tour during the ramadan. Both our tour manager and our driver are called Hassan. They are both very nice and super responsible! We have recommended them to our friends since we were back and would definitely love to travel with them if we visit Morocco again! We also met a very nice local guide Idriss in the medina of Fez. Want to say it again, thank you very much!

What an incredible experience ... !
We started our trip from Marrakesh with a driver called Ismail.
He was super thoughtful and joyful when guiding us through the 3-day trip.
The landscape was beautiful. Highlights go for the "Monkey Toes", the Atlas Mountais, the desert dunes, the desert sky full of stars and the "Garganta del Todra"
Breakfast and dinner are buffet meals and we always stopped lunch at a typical restaurant across the road (some of them could be better)
Heads-up for the roadtrip. It's quite intense (5-6h driving in each of the first 2 days and arouns 10h driving on the last day).
If you feel sick on the road, I advise taking some proper medication with you.

This was one of the best trips of my life. We went on the 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga private tour. Not only did Hassan put together a tour for us, he was able to accommodate our trip after a layover that lasted a day. He updated the 3-day tour just for us to see everything we wanted. Yidir...he was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the entire country (as he was born there) and ensured we stopped at all the right places. He even brought us flowers for International womens day! The trek from Marrakech through the valley and the Atlas was so worth it. He was a great cameraman, too! The camel trek through the Sahara was unbelievable. The camp we stayed at was also amazing. We enjoyed learning so much about the country from him. I will always recommend Marrakech-Morroco Trips to anyone! Always ask for Yidir!

After researching tour options on Tourradar, TripAdvisor, and a few other sites, we shortlisted an itinerary and interacting with a few tour operators via these sites. We found the responses sub-optimal and the prices quite inflated. So, going by Trip Advisor ratings of local tour operators and checking out the reviews online, we decided to reach out to Marrakech Morocco Trips directly for a personalized tour. That was the best decision we made!
We decided on a 9 day tour, starting in Tangier and ending in Marrakech. Hassan helped us plan out the details with some excellent suggestions, was very prompt and courteous in his responses - the guy must be working round the clock! He also arranged local guides for us in Fes and Marrakech, quads in the Sahara, etc to add additional memorable experiences to our trip.
Hassan gave us stay options, took our requests / suggestions and made all the reservations.
We had an Opel minivan and driver for the 4 of us - vehicle in excellent condition and very spacious. We covered Chefchaouen, Meknes, Fes, Ziz valley, Merzouga, Dades, ait benHaddou on the way and final 3 nights in Marrakech.
Our driver - Ismail - a gem of a person, mature and knowledge way beyond his late twenties age, was a pleasure - we practically treated him as another member of our family - so endearing and attentive to our needs.
He found many tucked away attractions on the way for us, made timely stops at panoramic view points and restaurant / cafes on the way. The eateries he picked were all very clean and well maintained, the service excellent and the food quite tasty. He was also quite patient with our delayed starts, finding creative ways to keep us on track for the day itinerary while not missing any agenda items - brilliant guy!
Overall, a very memorable experience that we will continue to relish for a long time.
Thanks Hassan and Ismail

We did the 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, passing through many important places, such as Dades, Ouarzazate... two days in the Merzouga desert (Erg Chebbi)...
We are very happy because the trip was spectacular. At first I had doubts about whether to go with the children or not but we finally decided and it has been the most spectacular and fun trip that our children have ever experienced.
We booked a 4-day excursion from Marrakech to Fez, private, so that we would have more freedom when moving around, since we were traveling with children. The manager, Hassan, made sure everything went well and the guide, Hamid, was like one of the family and helped us with everything, he has a big heart.
Both hotels were excellent, especially the one in Dades (it was spectacular, both the facilities and the meals). Hamid took us to see fossils and the children said they would also want to look, so he took us to a little mountain where we could find many. The children were very happy to find fossils.
The haimas at Camp Akabar were very good and the camp was very pleasant but what we liked most was the people who worked there, everyone was very friendly and pleasant.
The children turned 6 years old in the haima camp and, at night, by surprise, when we had already had dinner and were waiting for dessert, they turned off the lights and brought us a large cake with candles to blow out, then a piece of cake was distributed to all diners. It was a great touch from this company and we are very grateful to Hasan.
The children really enjoyed going up and down the desert dunes and riding the camel they laughed a lot. Also the day we went to see the monkeys, they liked it a lot.
Regarding food, the whole family really likes Moroccan food and we have very similar dishes in Mallorca, where we are from (except for the differences with the spices).
If anyone has doubts about whether or not to go with children, they can rest assured that they will have a great time, better than going to Disney.
It started to snow when we arrived in Ifrane, the "Moroccan Switzerland" and once there, we ate some delicious snails to warm up (very similar in flavor to those we make in Mallorca).
We are "anti-screens" but we brought a "tablet" and the agreement was that, if we were in the car for more than two hours, we would play a movie, of the 6 that we had downloaded. During the two-hour drive, we commented on the landscape and played oral games. During the trip there are many plows and it is not hard to go by car. Every stop we made was to see and admire, it was impressive.
The day after being at our house, our children told us that they wanted to come back, I told them that we would come back and one of them asked me "tomorrow?" and I answered that later on, he asked me "when I turned 7?"
The truth is that we already want to return.
Our guide, Hamid, has a 5-year-old daughter and a younger boy, we were able to go to his house, meet his family and the children played together, they had a great time!
We will miss our guide and friend, Hamid.
If anyone has questions and wants to contact us, they can do so.

Ismail from the tour company met us (seven adults from three families on a private tour of Morocco in Oct/Nov 2023) at the Casablanca airport. He then chauffeured and escorted us for two weeks, as we visited cities and towns from the Atlantic Coast to the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert. The eight-passenger van was outfitted with AC and WiFi, and had room for all our luggage.
The tour was well organized (thanks to Hassan, the accommodating owner of this tour company) and we got a great sampling of the beautiful country, its people, culture, and architecture. We tasted camel milk and mint tea, visited a nomad family in the desert, rode a camel for two hours into the heart of the desert for overnight camp, desert sunset and sunrise, camp fire, singing and dancing, attended a Gnawa music performance in Khamlia, and watched artisans at their crafts: olive & argan oil-pressing, pottery making, and rug weaving.
Besides the customary must-see places in Morocco (the market in Marrakech for example), we also got to visit other charming haunts: Hassi Labyad oasis; Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; and the Roman ruins at Volubilis. The lodgings were also remarkable; leaving aside modern hotels, we were delighted to be housed in unique riads and guest-houses in: Fes; Dades Valley; Marrakech; and, last but not least, Essaouira. The staff at these riads were very capable and solicitous for our wellbeing. The local tour guides assigned to us by the travel company were all informed, courteous, and interesting.
It was a memorable trip, made more so due to the attention Ismail bestowed on us from beginning to end. Ismail was very patient, and took the time to explain to us the Moroccan cuisines (he is a trained award-winning chef as well), the Berber language that we were all curious to learn a little bit about. He was kind and caring, and even bought one of us a local potion to help settle the stomach from food poisoning. Further, Ismail diligently followed up on our big purchases ensuring their tracked delivery. A most reliable helper! Also remarkable were Ismail’s fluency in spoken English, sense of humor, and bonhomie. We highly recommend the tour company. But insist on Ismail to be your cicerone! As he would say at the start of each trip, “Yallah!” (which means let’s go).

It was a wonderful experience! Each location with its beauty! Morocco is a country full of colors, vibrant with energy and beautiful landscapes. It is difficult to describe the beauty of the desert. I cannot fail to mention the service offered by Rafa.Morocco/Marrakech trips, as I was very satisfied with the welcome, promptness and service provided by the guide Rafaela Pereira. I highly recommend the Road Trip Excursion.

Amazing Tour!! Hassan was fast on response and arranged everything. We started from Fez and finished in Marrakech. Tour was very well organized. We saw a lot of beautiful places and had amazing and authentic experiences. Accommodation for all 3 days where great with traditional food. Our tour guide Ismael was really friendly and sincere. We learned a lot from him about history and culture. He was really trying to show us authentic life of Morocco and took us to all kind of off grid places. We had great time with him. Big Thanks to him!. Team from Merzouga was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to take at least 4 days as we did or more . There is so much beautiful places to see in all parts of Morocco so take your time so you can see most of it without hurry.

Our driver.and partial guide, Ismail, made out trip memorable. He was knowledgeable of history, explained cultural references and historical meaning to things and places, and was an incredible example of the good people of Morocco.

This company requires payment in cash and, with the number of people in our party, it is a sizeable amount for us to carry. Did you bring cash with you to Morocco or were you able to get cash from ATMs in Marakech without any problem? Or, were you able to pay the this company the balance through PayPal? Thanks!
كُتب بتاريخ 1 ديسمبر 2019
Hi there! We paid a deposit through PayPay so I guess there won’t be any problem if you wish to pay the whole amount.

How long does it take to get to the desert from Marrakesh? Roughly how long each way are you in a car?
كُتب بتاريخ 31 مارس 2018
We basically joined a three days tour so the first day the tour guide picked us up in early morning in Marrakech and then arrived one of the transit spot to stay overnight , next day he picked us up in early morning again and we did quite a lot of sightseeing until we reached desert during sunset and stayed there ! So basically took two days until we arrived desert roughly ! I guess it's much shorter if u skip all the sightseeing in between ! Hope it helps
