My friend and I were on the MBC trekking trip. Our guide Hari and porter Resham were very professional and trustworthy.
They provided good care when my friend was unwell and gave us enough confidence to appreciate the beauty of the mountains in Nepal.
The moment I arrived at my destination, I was very moved that I had overcome this not-so-easy challenge.

I'm the one who loves and enjoys nature, so I decided to take a trip to Nepal which is renowed as trekkers paradise on Earth
I contacted Forever Trek Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Hari Basnet provided me with a lot of guidance before I ever visited Nepal. He specialize in trekking expeditions.
I chose Merdi Himal route and Mr. Hari was to accompany me and he looked after me very well. For me, he is more than just a trekking trip guide; he is my brother

My friends and I, we had a wonderful time hiking the Manaslu Circuit Trek organized by Forever Trek Nepal. Our guide Ramesh and his staffs were the best. They made our trekking smooth, taking care of us, helping us whenever we needed it.
During the trek, we revised our plan due to the weather. At the end of the trek, I had to change the plan to stay in the town( instead of the tea house planned), but everyting was managed and Ramesh was very flexible on our request.
In summary, our trek was a great and memorable. I would definitely choose Forever Trek Nepal again next time of trekking in Nepal!

Hi, I'm Soloist fromThailand. I've been Langtang and Tsergo Ri in Nov 2023. It take 4 days in trekking, 2 days reaching Kyanjin, half day reaching Tsergo Ri and down to kyanjin then 1 last day long down hill to syabrubesi. So i'm trekking along with my guide and he is so helpful and well-arrange and easy adaptation because my plan quite shorter than normal so he can easily arrange my accommodations, food and also daily plan because we plan day by day up to physical condition, climates and timing. he made my trip easier.
note: Climates is clear in the morning until noon then become windy and cloudy so if you wanna get good memories at tsergo ri, you should start uphill as earlier as you can because I took 4:10 hr to reach the top and 3 hr to downhill. recommend start at 5 am.

Highly recommended. We had 5 people to do Langtang trekking. Trip was well organised, good arrangement and drop in/off airport services were very helpful for us as negotiations with taxi could be annoying. If you plan to visit Nepal, don't hesitate to contact Hari.

We had a great time with Forever trek.
MARDI HIMAL ROUTE
4 of us, they provided 2 porters and 1 guide.
They all very calm and helpful along the route. even we have some struggles, they are helpful and be a good companion.
We know them from local Thailand webboard. We recommend you guys use their services. They are fast respond in Whatsapp.

They say when you go to Nepal, to expect things to either happen quickly or never happen, expect chaos, and limited schedule structure.
My experience with FTN was that they set me up with a great guide but everything I had expected a tour company to arrange effectively otherwise was poorly done, and I felt uncomfortable as a female solo traveller at times.
I first got in contact with Hari after hearing good experiences from a friend of mine who travelled with some friends. As I was travelling alone and hiking alone, I sought advice from Hari for scheduling, details, my safety and the general plan.
The month leading up to the trip, I received a brief overview of what the trek would involve and answers to my specific questions remained vague. The main take home warning was to ensure I had spare days to account for unexpected weather delays.
I arrived in Kathmandu later than expected due to flight delays and immigration delays, but was kindly met with Bhim, one of the guides who works with FTN. Up until this point I was under the impression that Bhim or his brother would be my guide and would be joining me on the trek from Nepal to Lukla and up the Khumbu Valley. On the drive into the heart of Thamel was when I found out this was not going to be the case. I was going to be flying to Lukla on my own.
I was put up in a hostel for the night and for me to be ready the next morning by 3 to take the bus from KTM to Ramecchap to fly to Lukla. Fortunately I had persisted that nigh for Hari to take me to get myself a local sim so I had reception when I was alone, because the next day I was completely alone amongst of complete strangers stuck at the local Manthali Airport in Ramecchap.
Without the sim, I wouldn’t have been able to contact Hari to alert him that there were no flights. I wouldn’t have been able to organise a meet up point with my guide (who I had no idea who he was, what he looked like or even his name) on the mountain side. I ended up forking out $350 AUD to take a helicopter with a group of other tourists to get us onto the mountain that night, but to land at Surke, lower than Lukla.
Arriving at Surke I had no reception, and after about 45 mins of waiting, an elderly gentleman appeared asking for my name. I was hesitant, unsure if this was even my guide, amongst all the other local Nepalese men around. Fortunately he had reception and could verify through Hari that he was the correct guide and I was, indeed, his correct client.
After this, we hiked the evening up to a small teahouse with vacancy and my guide ensured I was comfortable and settling in despite the evident language barrier. The rest of the hike up to EBC and back was phenomenal. We went off schedule multiple times because we were ahead of schedule, and got to explore areas including the Sherpa Villages and stay the night with a local Sherpa family. Having such a great experienced guide made such a huge difference in my experience in my trip. On the day we reached Gorak Shep, we managed to do our return trip to EBC by 1:30, so we decided to try our luck with the Kala Patthar sunset view over Mt Everest. We were in luck and were blessed to see the beautiful sunset view.
The following three days we sped down the mountain and got back to Lukla a whole day ahead of schedule. My guide also managed to arrange a direct flight to Kathmandu for me, instead of flying back to the dreaded Ramecchap.
When I arrived back in Kathmandu, there was unfortunately no one to pick me up due to holiday season, and I made my way back to the hostel I was originally put up in. They put me up in a room where the power sockets were hanging out of the wall (electricity hazard!) and the bathrooms were disgusting (even on Nepalese standards - and mind you I had only “showered” twice during my trek!). Hari met me that evening in the hostel, and told me that there would be a company dinner arranged for the following night. I asked him multiple times if Bhim and any others would be attending, and I was under the impression that there would be others at the dinner.
I relocated myself to a finer accommodation the following nights and Hari picked me up for the dinner from my new hotel. When I asked him when the others would be coming, he told me they were still on their trek on the mountains and wouldn’t be coming.. - WHAT?? I was so shocked. Dinner ended up being just Hari and I at a Nepalese cultural restaurant. I felt quite uncomfortable during dinner and wanted it to be over.. especially when he asked me to write a 5 star review for the company, despite the accommodation set up, the lack of communication about my guide and dinner arrangements.
I hesitated on putting up this review because I overall did have a great experience in Nepal especially with the guide I was allocated to. Would I do this again? I’m not sure - I would if I was set up with the same guide again. But then again, maybe I’d be better off just going straight to my guide next time, as I’d feel more reassured and comfortable.

We just came back to Germany from our trip to Nepal. For us this was the first big trekking tour and we decided to do the Manaslu Circuit, because it is not so crowded.
We got in touch with several nepalese agencies.
But when we contacted Hari, he was sympathetic at once, so we decided to do the trek with Forever Trek Nepal.
We never regretted this decission for one second. Hari is such and amazing and also funny person. We arrived early in the morning at the airport and he was there for picking us up.
Everything was well planned and we could ask him everything during our whole trip, not only about the trek, we booked with him.
We soon met our guide Rajkumar (Monsoon) and one day before the trek our porter Prabin. They both were awesome as well and they did such a great job. We really liked them very much.
Monsoon knew a lot of the mountains and nepalese culture and explained us a lot during the trek. He also found the perfect pace for us.
He was also very flexible, so we had accomodations (where possible) in more little villages, because we don't like the more crowded places so much.
For us it was an unforgettable experience. We definitely will come back to Nepal and then we will book our trek again with Hari form Forever Trek Nepal and if possible again with our guide Rajkumar (Monsoon).

I can honestly and happily recommend Forever Trek Nepal. My sister and I did a very successful 15-day EBC Chola Pass trek. Trek of a lifetime! These treks are difficult because of the physicality and the altitude and you will find yourself very dependant on your guide, so choosing the proper person is extremely important. I personally would always choose a local company, for many reasons and Bhimsen and Hari were recommended to us and we couldn't be happier with our choice. They are both honourable men that take their roles seriously and with obvious pride. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. The info that they provided was accurate and we felt well prepared, as packing can be tricky. (I will say this: don't pack too much! Your porter has to carry it all and you really don't need as much as you think. Think about the weight of your bag carefully.)
From start to finish, we were completely looked after. They picked us up from the airport and delivered us to our hotel and later guided us to an excellent Nepalese restaurant. Our trek started the next day at 2am and there was never one time, in all of the amazing chaos of Kathmandu, that we felt concerned or uneasy. This trek pushes you outside of your comfort zone and really makes you dig deep. Thankfully, Bhim's confidence and easy going manner during the trek was always there for my personal moments of struggle. For 15 days we were stunned by the enormous beauty of Nepal, her mountains and people, and I'll always be grateful. Even at the end of our trek, we had two nights in Kathmandu and they showed us some sights, patiently helped us do some shopping and then finally delivered us safely back to the airport for our journeys home. Forever Trek Nepal really goes the extra distance for you.
I'm home now and feel so satisfied with the results of our trek. I honestly think that I can do pretty much anything that I set my mind to now! With the help of Hari and Bhimsen, I will have this rewarding experience to remember forever!
