I'd check with them on the current policy. When we did the trek we paid extra to hire an additional porter (200$) and then each of us could pack 25 kg, otherwise it was 15 kg/person. The duffel bag is water resistant--the porter put one of ours next to running water and water got inside the bag, so place your stuff in waterproof bags. Their bags are about a quarter smaller than the North Face duffel bag but you can squish it as the zipper is pretty strong.

And we must tell you that, you don’t need to join the group if you are not interested to travel with other. Hi, Thank you for your query. June is generally not an ideal month for trekking because the weather doesn’t tends to be favorable all that much. Nevertheless, if you would like to go for trekking in the month of June (with your quoted date of the trek starting on the 6th or the 7th as per your request) then it can certainly be arranged. For June, we can have the Everest Base Camp Trek or the Gokyo RI Trek arranged for you, whichever one you choose among these two choices. Unfortunately, a minimum of two people are required for acquiring a trek permit for the Manaslu Trek, thus a solo trek at Manaslu will not be a plausibility. We also do not have the availability of any other groups during the month of June for a group trekking either. We hope the information is helpful. Hi Cheryl We did a little 5 day trek a couple of years ago at this time and it was cool at night and nice during the day. We wore puffer jackets in the evening, long sleeves and even T shirts during the day. There however a lot of snow at that time. We recently returned from EBC in November and that was a bit cooler. Pack light and use layers. Merino is the way to go. Puffer jacket and wind jacket. Enjoy, we will be back in 2018

February is quite cold month for the trekking, but trek can be done. The temperature of the places are depend on the trekking routes. Since you have not defined the exact trekking route, we are unable to explain the specific temperature during the trek. However you may experience as high as 20 deg C during the day time and negative 5-6 deg C low at the highest elevation you are hiking within 6-7 days. Hi Warren and Nat, I would not be deterred by the term "challenging". I first crossed the Cho La at 48 and then again when I was 50 and Jacki and I have just complete the Annapurna Circuit with a crossing of the Thorong La where the altitude is the same as Cho La. We are both fit and healthy like yourselves but ensured we did plenty of training leading into it just to make sure.
