This was a fun tour where we walked around the Old Town Temples and Market. The cost includes some food from the local markets (some is spicy). The tour guide was very friendly and spoke decent English. As a solo traveler, I was in a small group with a family so it was easy to interact with the guide between stops. My only recommendation is that the guide provide a bit more detail about some of the places we visited

Our guide was new and excited about the tour. The boat walk was pretty great and the market also. It lasted 3 hours.

We had such a wonderful time on our tour. The young women guiding us were so knowledgeable and took us to many places we wouldn’t have found on our own. We had two more experienced guides, and two newer that were learning. I love the purpose behind the program and thought they were all fantastic. We enjoyed learning more about everyday life in Bangkok and they answered many questions as we walked along. We highly recommend adding this to your visit!

it's a truly excellent tour! you can go deep in a local style to explore the city, the tour guide is super friendly, you definitely feel like walking with a good friend, very knowledgeable, and very cozy experience.

Have thought about to be guided by the local guy and truly experience the real culture of Thailand and appreciate the nature’s beauty of this great land, don’t miss it!! I was so happy to be surrounded by the lovely people, we got very nice conversation all the time. Hey! If u r the one of tourists looking for a kinda experience, listen, you don’t wanna miss out this opportunity !!

Burin and Paint took us around some of the lesser-known areas, buying food and teaching us about the history along the way. They also gave us some good advice on things to do and see in Bangkok.
I've already been recommending their tour to people I've met in Bangkok, would recommend!

Paint and Bulian were our tour guides, who were very informative and accommodating. We used public transport to travel from the Chinese community to the Indian community in Bangkok. We then stopped at a shopping mall to try some Thai street food. This was followed by a museum visit where it was explained what it means to be Thai. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it 😊

Knowledgeable guides, good pace, kept group together, interesting things to see. There was a lot on the role of Buddhism in Chinese culture but it is a major aspect. I would have liked some more explanation of the foods we were seeing in the raw food market. It was a general tour so everyone's particular interests can't be included. Free tour though be nice and give the guides a good tip! Was about 2 hours long. Guides very helpful advising how to get back to my hotel from Chinatown.

I’ve done two tours with SiamRise and I absolutly loved it!
Paint and Buri are very helpefull, concerned and easy to talk to. They make us feel as friends.
They were as well very well prepared for both tours, sharing details in each stop and answering easly to every question that was made.
Highly recommend!!

We took the essential (free!) tour to chinatown bangkok and it was great. The guide was great and very informative. Thank you! We had a great time!

Dear Bluffo,
Thank you for contacting us. We have other optional tours as a paid tours list on Viator as well. Otherwise, you can check more detail on our Free Bangkok Walks website.
There are some tours under the project. We do FREE GUIDED TOUR with money collects for 150THB. Where does the money go?
- 50THB will be covered expense on tours such as transportation and drinks.
100THB will be collected to our development funds to work with local people in the countryside for their tourism development project or any community services in the future.

"SiamRise" used to organise the free old town walking tour but but since a couple of months they only offer the free ESSENTIAL CHINA TOWN WALKS on Tuesdays.

Klongs, or known in English as canals, are an essential part of Thai way-of-life. Along Klong Mahasawat are several attractions that you can visit and you’ll be taken on a cruise along the canal of agro-tourism.
