I come here a lot because I live nearby. It is a wonderful food court and speciality kiosks abound with some great food.
However, some Thais have recently refrained from visiting due to the owner’s political views. He is among a large group of military-appointed senators who recently refused to confirm the democratic coalition’s choice for Prime Minister. Even though this democratic coalition controls more than 60% of Parliament’s elected seats.
I’m noting this just in case some of your Thai friends feel uneasy coming to this market.
Some may ask, with all the controversy, why a 5 star rating? Because the staff who work here are simply awesome and so is their food.
However, some Thais have recently refrained from visiting due to the owner’s political views. One of the places in Bangkok I often come to eat is at Paradise Park Shopping Center, Srinagarindra Road.
In the lower floor are the Seri Market, which is a super fine dining place with Thai food.
About 100 stalls offer freshly cooked food of good quality every day.
It is clean and neat, and the ingredients are fresh.
You get great value for money, and can also get the food as take away.
A large plate of curry with pork and rice costs 60 Baht.
It tasted really good and was not too spicy.
Many other delicious Thai dishes are offered at prices mostly between 40 and 60 Baht.
You can choose between vegetarian food, fish, seafood, chicken, duck and pork.
In the lower floor there are also several common restaurants, in addition to Paradise Park Food Bazaar, which is mostly take away shops.

Once walking into this Seri Market, it is all about drooling. Many great looking local food. Just wanna have them all really. Reasonable price too. Thank god.

รอบนี้ใช้ภาพยืนยันความอร่อย แนะนำมาชิมนะค่า
มีร้านมากมายมาเสริมทัพความอร่อย ทั้งเย็นตาโฟฟ้าผ่า ขาหมูเหม่งจ๋าย แม่ลาปลาเผา อาหารอิสลามก็สุดแสนจะอร่อย ให้ลองมาเลือกชิมกันตามอัธยาศัย

Many local people think the food here is expensive but not really,
A plate of rice with 2 choices is 50 baht! Even in the streets you can pay up to 50 baht (35-50) so I think this place is well worth it! Especially because the food is so much better than street food! And very very clean, no rats, cockroaches, cats, dogs, birds, etc..
Well worth the money!!! :)
I will agree that the market produce is a little overpriced for locals but I only go there for the food anyway.
The market sells lots of organic and OTOP (local made and supported) foods so perhaps thats why it is more expensive than elsewhere. If you know much about Thailand you will know that most food has so many chemicals in it, it is dangerous so people are starting to pay more for "organic" foods, but even them you cannot trust.
Last year (2016) it was found that government stamped "organic" had more chemicals in it than legally allowed! So buyer beware in Thailand.

This is a kind of place for local really. Not much interesting for tourist in my view. I am happy to pop by for a quick meal and do some shopping to fill up the fridge. Various kind of food in the food court.

ตลาดแห่งนี้เป็นที่ฝากท้องทุกเสาร์อาทิตย์ ที่นี้จะคล้ายๆfood center แต่อาหารไม่ใช่ เพราะมีให้เลือกอร่อยหลายร้านเช่นร้านบ้านบึง อาหารร้านนี้มีหลากหลายเมนู แต่ที่เด่นๆของทางร้านคือข้าวผัดปูรสชาติคือปูจริงๆ ข้าวไม่นิ่มมากหรือแข็งจนเกินไปพอดีๆรสชาติกลมกล่อม เมนูนี้แนะนำ ส่วนที่เด่นอย่างต่อมาคือฮ้อยจ้อปู ขายทั้งแบบสดกับแบบทอด ราคาเส้นละ100 มี 5ลูก ถามว่าแพงไหม ไม่แพงเพราะคุ้มราคามากเนื้อปูแน่นมาก กัดไปคำแรกไม่ใช่เนื้อปูหายไปเลยมีเนื้อปูฟูๆทั้งลูกเลยแนะนำเหมือนกัน ส่วนเมนูอื่นๆต้องไปแวะชมเพราะทางร้านทำตลอดเวลาถาดไหนหมดทำแบบอื่นๆมาเติมเลย มีทีมงานผลิตเยอะทำเร็ว ทำอร่อย แนะนำไปชิมเลยจ้ะ

Went to the Ninth a few times,but only dined there once. I always had lunch at Seri Market.
It s a food court and take away food market but the food there is much better than normal food courts or fancy franchise restaurants in other malls.
I have tried food from different shops there; from rice with curry, lad na noodles, to Muslim curry noodles.
My favorite dish would be the giant garlic chive dumplings (Gui Chai). They make it really big and full of chives, 20 baht each.
The fish pun klips (Thai snacks ปั้นขลิบปลา) from the curry noodle shop next door to the giant chive dumplings are also very good. They don't look that neat but it is very tasty.
It is not only delicious but healthy too. I saw the sign in the front saying that the food in the market has no msg.
I am really looking forward to my next visit even though my house is really far from there.

Saw someone's recommendation, we stopped by after visiting the wonderful Rama IX Park (about 5km away by taxi). Sure it is a market with air-condition, but not too interesting. A lot of local food though and a lot of local people eating. But the 200-gram crab meat costing 160 Baht had strong ammonia taste, making it simply the worst food we had in all Thailand.

อาหารราคาแพงเมื่อเทียบกับปริมาณและไม่ค่อยหลากหลายเท่าไหร่ อย่างเกาเหลานี่มีหลายร้านมาก รสชาดก็ธรรมดา โดยส่วนตัวยังถือว่าไม่ผ่าน
