I joined the Karen Land of Rice 2 day trek a couple of weeks ago, and it was fantastic in every respect. Our guide, Share, was a naturalist as much as a hiking guide, and was constantly pointing out plants and animals, and many other interesting things that we passed. Every meal was really great, and the village stay was comfortable, engaging and authentic. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would look for forward to any opportunity I had to trek/run with TMT again!

In mid-January, we had a great time. Our guide Mit is just awesome. A real mountain machine. I remember the (little jog ) after the first day. Meeting this funny human guide was a highlight of our trip. Likewise the inhabitants of the villages were incredible. The accommodation during the Treck is very good. The food is extraordinary. We risk leaving with extra kilos for the most greedy.We also had the chance to leave with a great group (5 people + 1 guide) of the same level and Mit managed the physical efforts of everyone very well. Go ahead with your eyes closed

Great hiking experience (5 days) in the mountains, off the beaten paths. Beautiful scenary and remote villages. Wonderful sunsets znd sunrise.

A great experience on the 2D/1N Tour of Chiang Dao.
The pick from Chiang Mai was around 7.45am and there was a 2 hour transfer to the start of the hike after picking up 3 other intrepid hikers.
The majority of the hike is on mountain paths through jungle/woodland and is mostly shaded and so shielded from the fierce sun and not oppressively hot, although it is humid.
The hike is no ‘walk in the park’ and there are some very steep (and long) ascents and descents, some of which are very steep.
Mit was our guide and and was friendly, excellent and frequently helping my wife though some of the steeper narrower ascents
The home stay overnight was comfortable with hot showers and toiletries and towels.
TMT will store bigger bags for you and for us arranged onward travel to our next destination in Tha Ton rather than first going back to Chiang Mai first.
Overall thoroughly. Recommended if you want something a little tougher, with great scenery and away from the crowds.

We went on the Great Escape to Chiang Dao 3 days trekking. It was a wonderful experience being in the jungle and stayed two nights in beautiful small lodges where we got amazing food. Our guide Mit made this a perfect adventure and guided us well through all the challenges.

We - three gentlemen in the best years - did day tour with TMT. Our expectations have been more than met. Our guide Cher was always friendly and helpful. He explained a lot to us and is always helpful. Organization was very good. Absolutely recommend!

Very serious agency that guides you off the beaten track towards a beautiful human experience and very nature. Trekking booked from France via internet. Sebastian answers your questions quickly.
Our guide named Cheer was very patient, human and attentive to our safety, our needs.
You still need a little physical fitness.
The family of the village Karen are lovely people with a great sense of welcome.

We had an amazing experience with TMT. Firstly, when booking we were doing a day trip and then left Chiang Mai until the trek, but that didn’t turn out to be a problem as they keep the office open late to provide us with all the information we needed.
The trek it self was amazing! Stunning view and beautiful landscapes. Mit was our guide and he was simply the best. Really funny but also kind and caring. Everything was planned absolutely perfect, we were provided with water, meals and snacks. The night in the mountain village was a very pleasant experience as well.
Thank you to Mit and the whole team!!

A wonderful family experience. We are a French family with three children, the youngest being 9 years old. We chose the 2-day hike "in the Lahu Highlands," where we walked about 25 km over 2 days and climbed a total elevation of more than 1500 m. We were joined by another group of three young women in their 20s, and this experience was enriching for everyone! Our Guide, "Share," was our official Guide and spoke English, but there was also a Second Guide (sorry, I can't recall his name) who was incredible—a young man from the village of Kup Kap who hiked in his mountains wearing flip-flops! 😅 We loved the landscapes, the warm welcome from our village hosts, and spending the night in a traditional setting. We will gladly return to explore more trails! Thank you, Share, for your patience with all of us!

Great 3 day trek "Great Escape to Chiang Dao" with our adorable guide Mit! In the middle of the rainy season, we had only a few good showers but the atmosphere was magical! First quiet day to get in the mood but with beautiful landscapes and a little jungle crossing to get your appetite. The second day is the most serious, with two good steep climbs for two summits. The third day is quite rolling with wide paths mainly downhill. The meals in the villages are delicious and hearty and we slept well, without mosquitoes, but with quies balls because wind, insects and birds can make a lot of noise at night.
In the end, it was a very good first experience, accessible to anyone doing good hikes in the Alps.

Bonjour, tous nos séjours avec le détail et les prix sont disponibles sur notre site web (voir lien sur notre page Trip Advisor). Le site est en anglais mais sera bientot traduit en Français (en juin). Pas de problème pour des enfants de 14 et 15 ans, nous avons déjà eu des enfants de 12 ans en forme. En février le temps est encore très bon. La pollution des brulis arrivent fin mars. Cordialement. TMT
