Had a hot oil and body scrub massage with a facial and it was AMAZING. The head massage was to die for and we were greeted with cold towels and drinks, then were offered a delicious yogurt parfait and tea afterword. Also very beautiful location.

Walking into Cheeva Spa has a wonderful ambience. You start with an iced towel and a drink. I booked the Serenity package. The room had a shower, bath and toilet, well set up. Unfortunately it was right by the road so the noise was intrusive. I will say I have had massage all over the world and have regular massage at home.
This wasn’t a good experience. The body scrub was good. However we then moved onto the foot and hot oil massage. Both had been learnt by rote and not very well! The oil massage in particular was bad. Had no idea how to release muscles and was just going through the motions.
Facial treatment was fine but the head massage was 2 minutes! Again didn’t really know how to do a head massage.
The bath was fine
Finished with some muesli, yoghurt, mango and a cool drink.
Overpriced and disappointing.

Fall in love with their incredible facilities and atmosphere that will make you relax immediately. Therapists are highly qualified and also they use great products to treat you.
Additional they offer hotel transportation round trip, from the moment you are in their cars the hole experience starts.
Cheeva spa has won numerous awards over the years including Trip advisor certificate of excellence.
Highly recommended spa in Chaing Mai city.

Feels like I'm treated as a princess! I booked the "Luxury package". They have driver came to pick me up at my hostel and they played some soothing music in the car which helped to relaxing my mind already! The environment and the atmosphere are very good! Ice and May are very nice, helpful and friendly! I love the milky bath so much, they provided fresh fruits and mango sticky rice, delicious! It was an amazing experience! Very nice massage! It's a very good place for relax and destress! I would definitely like to visit Cheeva Spa again when I travel Chiang Mai next time!

Cheeva Spa offers the all around Spa experience I ever wanted. Perfect from start to finish with no let up in between. With over 500 Spa experiences under my belt, I can tell. I was collected on time by a charming driver lady to drive me in the very front of Cheeva Spa.
Reception was swift and professional. Based on the experience so far, I ask for an extension of the treatment now to include a food massage and a facial. They could accommodate my request without a hitch. Done. After a tender and perfect foot massage, I was guided to the single, well-appointed therapy room, first walking across a miniature garden, small, but well set.
The therapist lady exercised a relaxing aromatherapy massage, "comme il faut" (French for exemplary service). Finally, a facial of top quality and comfort. Never in a rush, always fully aware of what the lady was doing.
To finish off; a well-appointed tray with tea, freshly cut mango and sticky rice. There is not one point to complain or make improvements. Just the perfect massage in town Enjoy.

We had an amazing spa service. They picked us up from our hotel and we’re very accommodating considering we called for a same day appointment. May was excellent and we will definitely be returning on our next trip.

Visited with my son and daughter over the Christmas period as a treat. The staff at the spa were wonderful. The welcome we received was just a taste of the experience we would have. We were served tea and given a foot bath by our therapists who gave us health questionnaires to complete. They checked the therapy we had chosen and took us into side rooms. I had a Thai massage with medium pressure. The treatment lasted an hour and my muscles were stretched and massaged. I felt very relaxed it was very calm. It ended with my hair being combed and put up with flowers. After changing back into our own clothes we were taken back to the first room where we were served ginger tea and mango with sticky rice. We were given time, not rushed at all. I would thoroughly recommend the spa if you are in the area. Well worth a visit

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed our services. With regards to the Thai massage, when only having Thai massage, we recommend 2 hours as the optimal time to have this massage.

My husband and I went there after whole day walking around the old city and China town . We booked earlier through our hotel. We had very good experience from welcome to end our session. cheeva driver picked up and dropped us to our hotel. During 2.5 hours session we were happy . It starts with pleasure and ends up with happiness. The lady who took careof me , her name was Kwea..

I sent my 17 year old daughter alone to this spa for her to enjoy. I was very hesitant but my daughter has been wanting to travel alone in a few months when she turns 18. I was worried about sending my daughter alone to a spa in a foreign country. When the driver picked her up, I talked to the driver about keeping her safe and asked if I could take a picture of her and the car for safety reasons. She allowed it. She was very nice about it. I requested FEMALES ONLY which was accommodated. I found out there’s no male staff anyway. Cheeva was also pretty good at responding to my emails. My daughter enjoyed her 4 hour luxury package. Her only complaint was that the facial was a bit rough but other then that, she enjoyed it. We booked her appointment at 10am. Online price was 4400 baht but received 15% discount for morning booking so ended up paying 3700 baht.

I would like to apologize with regards to the facial treatment, this may be due to the therapist a bit. Also, we are not offering a new range of ORGANIC facial scrubs and facial masks, which may better suit your daughter.
With regards to MALE Therapists, we have available by request.
We are happy to know that you daughter enjoyed our Luxury package, beginning with a foot massage, then having a body scrub, and our full body wrap, followed by our aromatherapy oil massage, then taking time to relax in our milky bath and finishing with our facial treatment.
We look forward to her return visit, and maybe you can join her and enjoy spa together.

Hi, the bun, with or without flower, is done while she finishes your head massage. It's not proposed nor do you pay extra ... it's just nicely offered.

Our Aromatherapy Oil massage (we do more than just rub oil, we give massage) is 1,300฿ for 60 minutes & 2,200฿ for 2 hrs.
Our spa packages begin at 1,900฿/2 hours
Our 2 hour Harmony package (foot massage/back head & shoulder massage/Cheeva Hot Oil massage [full body]) is only 2,200฿

Hi, thank you for asking a question, my apologies for the delay in responding.
When booking your spa session with us, in the additional requests section of the online form, you may request a male therapist. I also, have a female therapist that can hold her own as well. I would also like to mention, that we take a slightly different approach to the "soft"/"strong" massage. With regards to our deep tissue massage, we do our best to soften the muscles to get to the deeper layers to work them out, instead of attempting to use brute force to get past the superficial fascia. That being said, please note that we do not "hurt" our customers; nor do we wish for our customers to feel "beat up" after a session with us here at Cheeva Spa. I also am of the mindset that a truly relaxing massage is therapeutic in nature.

The spa package prices start at 1,900฿/2hrs going up to 4,800฿/4.5 hrs (approximate exchange rate: 35฿:$1)

Thank you for your question. While I believe all spa services are an individual experience, we do have rooms available for couples to share their experiences together.
Please note that while the majority of our services and packages are for one (1) person, they may be done together, be they the same service/package or different services/packages..
We have only one package specifically designed and priced for couples, our Honeymoon package, which I believe provides a wonderful spa day experience for couples be they Honeymooners or otherwise.

Allow me to answer as follows to the different points you have raised:
sensuel massage: While in some essence many massages may be sensual, as it depends on the individual and their current mental state of mind. However, It is never the intention of our staff to give a sensual massage in an inappropriate manner. It is understood there are shops and other places for such activities. Let it be known that none of that goes on here at Cheeva Spa. We are a Thailand Tourism Award winning spa, as well as a Thai Lanna Identity spa, including having been the highest rated spot here on tripadvisor for some time. We are an urban day spa, providing day spa services, with Lanna Hospitality to give the best spa experience at a reasonable price.
nigh life: well this depends on person to person, and what kind of night life you're looking for? there is the Night Bazaar which is every night, and you have the 'trendy' side of town, the Nimmanhaimen Road area which has many coffee shops, boutique shops, restaurants, night clubs. There are also other areas and activities available.
Hotels: well this would depend on your budget. Chiang Mai is a wonderful place to be able to upgrade your hotel per your wallet. That being said, there are many great places to be had at all levels.
Good restaurants: now this tends to be a very subjective suggestion, there are a nice selection of restaurants available depending on what you have a taste for on a certain evening. We are always happy to suggest and recommend places after you have finished your spa services with us, as we'll be happy to take you to one of the many fine dining establishments.
