i hired a car and driver by using trip adviser forum and then looked up tours off phu my .the driver came from ho chi min cost for all day was 100 us was more than happy if your shipdocks in phu my it is 2 hr trip to ho chi min its not worth it you will lose 4 hrs we looked at phu my and surrounds plenty to see lunch will cost 4 us paying 70 or 80 us is a rip off do your research first if you are docking in ho chi min there are plenty taxis at port for about 50 60 us depends on how hard you bargain

If you email them direct through their website they reply within a day. This is the email we received about a tour in April 2019. We did the Saigon Highlights and it was great. Highly recommended, the guide spoke English very well, he adapted the tour around the rain and the returning traffic. We had 7 in our group, but it was to the countryside and not Ho Chi Minh City as we had spent a good bit of time there before. It was a good tour and probably the best we could ask for given the port. i would like to have done the Mekong Delta but it was too far. Our group enjoyed the tour and we enjoyed a great seafood lunch which was not included. Cost per person was $80.00.

Hi Giles, Thi runs a good company and will give you a great tour without the hassles. We've used them twice from Phu My Port and both tiems they were great. This forum will not let me post their web site called smiletoursvietnam. Look for the southern vietnam tours; all the options are on there and their contact details are on the very top of the page....

There's no office at the port but I think they can arrange it for you and it's better to arrange it in advance as usually you can request discounts as well. Since you are arriving HCMC you can just drop by to their office and have it paid and confirm your activities there.
