I went for a business trip to Baku and I was deeply impressed when passing by CHELEBI store. It’s a high-profile showroom of furniture and home decor. There are beautiful pieces with traditional Azerbaijani motifs. It’s almost like if you went to the National Museum of Arts (which is also really great btw).
If you are in Baku, that’s def a place to visit and buy souvenirs. Oh, and the staff was very helpful as well. My personal fav are the wooden candlesticks, scarfs and tiny animal figurines.

A visit to this furniture and decor shop, which was created by the Azerbaijani artists Aida Mahmudova and Farid Rasulov in 2013, is a must. They gave furniture and home accessories a new dimension by introducing the traditional carpet designs, Azerbaijan fairytale images and music instrument motifs. You can find beautifully adorned pillow covers, ceramic statues, lampshades, key chains, vases, teapots and mugs, framed pictures of musical instruments, furniture pieces with quaint fabric patters, trays, etc.
Only 20 pieces of one pattern are produced to maintain exclusivity. Do not leave Baku without visiting this fantastic shop.
