We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Hasan and are so grateful to him for his dedication in making our first visit to Bangladesh so utterly memorable.
We had set out to see Dhaka, Cox’s Bazar and Chattogram in a short number of days, and Hasan handled all of the logistical arrangements beautifully - making himself available to accompany us throughout our time in Chattogram - using his many contacts to arrange a two hours long boat trip into the Bay of Bengal around the huge ships in the breaking yards - a sight that I had wanted to see for years.
Hasan will not only cover the well known sights with you but will also take you under the surface of Dhaka - to unearth the great human interest that makes Bangladesh so magical.
Not just ah experienced guide of 14 years standing, Hasan is multilingual, university educated and really knows his way around officialdom and bureaucracy, to ensure a seamless experience for the traveller.
His passion for tourism is palpable and he is a tremendous ambassador for Bangladesh.
In short, if you’re going to Bangladesh (and not just Dhaka), make sure you call Hasan first.

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on anywhere. Zafrul Hassan took us all around Old Dhaka, showing us some of the city's hidden gems. I had full faith in Mr. Hassan as we crossed the Buriganga River, wandered through Mughal-era houses, and toured the open markets. My only regret was that I did not have enough time to do the nighttime street food tour. Maybe next time. I would send anyone I knew visiting Dhaka to do Mr. Hassan's tour. It was informative, but best of all it was very fun.

Zafrul accompanied a large group of adults and children to the beautiful Panam city. He was timely, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We were very comfortable and happy with his support. Hope to go on a boat ride with him soon!

I had a very limited time in Dhaka and Hassan took us all around the old city to get areal sens of this amazing and surprising town. It was great to be with some one who knows so well the city and can also understand what foreigners are looking for . I will don’t hesitate to contact him again for other visits when I will be back.

I spent a good week with Zafrul showing me around. It was a great time - He showed me spots never mentioned in any travel guide, amazing lookouts, and always close to the people. His knowledge and excellent english as well as his friendly and attentive personality made my trip interesting, educational and beautiful.

Dhaka Urban Outings (DUO) founded by the wonderful Zafrul Hasan is a bespoke tour company that is your gateway to great experiences in Bangladesh. I took several tours with DUO when I was living and working in Bangladesh during 2015 - 2016, including day tours of the book markets and old historic sites of Dhaka and overnight tours with my whole family up to the northern tea plantations of Sylhet and down the river south on the old "Rocket" paddle boat along the old Ganges Buriganga River (Padma River) towards the glorious green horizons of the Sundabarns. Hasan is eminently trustworthy, extraordinarily kind, extremely conscientious, fully honest. Hasan and his tour company are an asset to Bangladesh.

Hasan, with his knowledge and insights, humble personality and professionalism on customizing the program based on your needs is brilliant. I truly appreciate his guidance and totally recommend him to anyone with full endorsement. He is a gem in Dhaka and get you to anywhere you would like to see: Minority/marginal areas, factories, roodtops to see the city from different angles, you imagine, Hasan makes it happen.

Si vous cherchez un guide pour connaitre Dhaka dans ses derniers secrets, demandez "Indiana" Hasan de vous promener dans des endroits inconnus, secrets et rares. Avec une grande passion il va vous décrire les monuments, il va vous montrer ce qu'un touriste "normal" ne vera jamais, il va vous emmener au derniers étages des immeubles du vieux Dhaka, il va vous montrer les meilleurs endroits pour un thé au gingembre, il va vous faire goute le vrai biriani populaire, mouton ou poulet, chic ou pauvre mais succulent à se lecher les doigts. Il connait tous les événements à ne pas manquer, il est infatigable, dynamique, souriant, bref - n'hésitez pas, vous n'allez pas regretter des vues, des rues et ruelles qu'il va vous faire prendre, le bateau sur Buriganga, les rencontres qu'ils va vous concocter seul ou à votre demande.

Had only 1 hour as I was on a work trip, but was able to see so much of the city on foot and with a great guide who told me a LOT of history! Saw Lalbagh Fort and Ahsan Manzil, as well as Hindu street, the spice market and the vegetable market and some amazing old buildings! Definitely worth booking with them for an affordable quick and informative tour! Guide speaks great English too!
