I am in the textiles business and recognize when someone really cares about their product. Not only are these brocades the best available, but they are tastefully made into garments and the work is impeccable. Honest and serious people. Merchandise is best in Istanbul that we saw, and we looked!
Highly recommended.

full of unbelieveable Turkish works of art...I love every piece from this shop & receive many compliments where ever I go - very international chic. All the jewelry is one of a kind and quite reasonable !! we have been shopping there for 10 years or more and it just gets better and better. A very memorable experience thanks to Fahri

Rose Art Gallery is a breath of fresh air! Beautiful, unique clothes, textiles, bags, and jewelry. All of the items are made in Turkey of exquisite materials, and presented well. Fahri, the owner, is knowledgeable, and friendly. He’s super helpful and speaks perfect English. He won’t haggle with you or push, as other Istanbul store owners frequently do.
Instead, sit down with him, ask questions, and hear his incredible story and the story of his merchandise. He will tell you about where they are made, how he sourced the fabric, and help fit you into jackets, scarves, or a bag or two. He is very knowledgeable, and has been in the industry his whole life.
Many places in Istanbul sells the same items, often sourced from China. Rose Art Gallery is the opposite. All the items are made in Turkey, of stunning fabrics, and with beautiful attention to detail. Do go! I wear my Rose Art Gallery Bag all the time and get many, many compliments.

Absolutely the shopping highlight of our trip to Istanbul. Rose Art Gallery has the most beautiful things with a very broad price range. Especially lovely are the pieces from hand made local textiles. I have several jackets, bags and scarves and am particularly fond of two ikat coats that I wear often, never without receiving a compliment. Even my bedspread is an exceptional antique textile from Rose Art.
Fahri and his wife are the among most lovely people you can imagine, and it is a real relief to spend some time at Rose Art after the 'hard sell' often found in Istanbul. They are immensely knowledgeable about the processes of making the beautiful fabrics, and I learned a great deal from them.
Walking distance from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Four Seasons through a safe and pleasant neighborhood. Whether shopping for yourself or for fabulous and unique gifts to bring home - this is the place.

Our experience at the Rose Art Gallery was pleasant and relaxed - no pressure and we could take our time to decide what we wanted. Fahri, his partner and assistant were courteous, helpful and great to work with.
