Don't miss the covered houses exhibit while you are visiting. There is an extra charge which is not covered by the general entrance fee and for this reason, it is not very crowded... the crowds don't know what they are missing!

The Marble Way is amazing - when you walk there you can really feel history come to life. Just imagine how many people walked there in ancient times... Amazing!

La vía de mármol se encuentra en la antigua ciudad de Efeso y se extiende desde la Biblioteca de Celso hasta el Gran Teatro.
Está realizada en baldosones de mármol y hasta hoy pueden verse algunas huellas de los carros que circulaban por allí.
A los costados se encuentra enmarcada por columnas que acompañan esta increíble marcha por una historia de 2000 años.
Caminar por esta vía nos transporta al pasado de una forma mágica

You really can feel the history as you walk down this street and follow in the footsteps of the Ephesians this is one for the bucket list and i feel privileged i got to see the whole site.

I was amazed that I could walk on a street that people almost 2000 years ago walked on. You can still see the chariot ruts and little messages from ancient christians in code.

2012年5月に行った時は、マーブル通りは修復中で見学できませんでした。通りを埋め尽くす大理石はすべて剥がされています。今現在も修復中のようです。
マーブル通りが修復中でも、エフェソスの遺跡観光は十分堪能できるので私には支障はありませんでしたが、大理石に刻まれた娼館の広告（足跡）を見たい方は、事前に修復が済んだかどうか確認されることをお勧めします。

You will have to walk down this way to visit Ephesus from the top. The whole site of Ephesus is uneven so plan to traverse uneven terrain. I dont know why this site is broken into some many listings on Tripadvisor other than Ephesus is too outstanding to list only the city itself.

Marble ways was so long that nearly 1 hour walking down, and it was so hot.. bring your comfortable shoes with you before you pack.
