Marc Coles, the owner of Believeland Tours is absolutely outstanding as a tour guide. He not only has comprehensive knowledge of Israel and its history but he is able to convey the importance of areas like Jerusalem and other parts of Israel to Christians and Muslims. Every day was filled with comprehensive history of the sites we saw and their importance. He was also able to effectively talk about the political cross currents and their impact on each of the populations that live in Israel. In addition, Marc is very personable and fun to be with daily. We have become friends as a result and continue to have personal contact with him.
We had never been to Israel and as a result wanted a comprehensive experience. Marc actively worked with us and accommodated our requests as well as making sure we saw the important sites and areas of Israel.
We recommend him highly. You could not ask for a better experience. If we have the opportunity to return, we would not hesitate to use him again.

Our multigenerational family group of six (two of us, our son, daughter-in-law and 9 and 6 year old granddaughters) spent two full days of touring in and around Tel Aviv with Marc. The four adults had been to Israel many times but it was our granddaughters' first trip and they/we all loved every second of it! We had several zoom calls and exchanged emails with Marc in advance of the trip so that he could get to know us and what our expectations were. Marc put together great itineraries that were not only kid-centric, but also appealing and new to the adults. The kids were like sponges and particularly loved their "hands-on" experiences as we learned about the history of Tel Aviv and of the various animals in the bible. He had strongly suggested an ATV tour in the Judean Hills that we thought we would probably skip, but we decided to go with his recommendation and it was amazing! We had hoped to have Marc for two additional days of touring but he was already booked. Even so, he still made suggestions and arranged for pick ups and transfers to and from the airport and also between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. I know a number of other people who have toured with Marc and all come away impressed and so happy that they he had been his guide. He's incredibly intuitive and able to give tours to people of every age and religious background. We look forward to being able to tour with him again in the future.

Believeland Tours created a great experience for our family. I had used Believeland once before when in Israel for 2 days. I brought my family to Israel this time for 8 days, and it was truly special. Mark understands how to put togethter a great plan that fits your needs and then delivers. There are some things we werent really interested in seeing, Mark was respectful but persisitent if he thought it would be something we liked. He was right every time.
I would recommend using Mark to tour you through anywhere in Israel. Mark speaks perfect english. He has a deep understanding of all the faiths that you will encounter in Jerusalem. This was a great choice for my family

Marc was able to relate to us as American Christians, yet exposed us to the Jewish culture, religion and political/ geopolitical issues of the day. He is a treasure trove of information both current and historical. He was able to assess our interests and make changes as we toured that he thought would heighten our experience and understanding. He is thoughtful, caring and intuitive. Our visit was excellent because of Marc’s attention to detail and overall care for us. I would highly recommend him as your guide.

To celebrate the Bat Mitzvah of our granddaughter we decided to visit Israel with her family. Marc was beyond sensitive and flexible to our time constraints (due to school and work schedules) and, more importantly, in assuring that the experience(s) would be fun, meaningful and memorable for our granddaughter and her younger sister. To describe each day's unforgettable experience(s) and Marc's guiding, informative hand in keeping all of us engaged would take too long. For them (and the adults), the true measure success is simply that Marc became a member of our extended family.

Marc is an amazing, enthusiastic and incredible guide. He is so knowledgeable and tailors all travel to the group that he is touring with. I felt very engaged on the journey because he asked questions that formed into discussions about what we were seeing. I got much more out of my trip to Israel because of Marc. It would not have been the same without him. I'm very grateful and will never forget my experience! I hope to go back one day. Marc's enthusiasm for touring is palpable and makes the trip even more special and unforgettable.

When we booked our trip to Israel we knew we wanted more than your typical group travel experience. A good friend who had recently visited Israel gave us Marc’s contact and from there the trip of a lifetime was born! Marc is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We had several zoom meetings to personalize our trip and it was just even better than we could have imagined. From the birth story of Tel Aviv to the birth of the three major religions, Marc knows it all! He is a great teacher and we learned much more than just history. After spending three fully packed days with Marc, with some of most incredible, life changing experiences …. We also walked away with a friend. Thank you Marc for making this trip so special for us.

We had the privilege of doing a corporate Jerusalem trip with Marc from Believeland tours - his knowledge was incredible, manner engaging, respectful and kind. We learned so much and gained a depth of appreciation for Jerusalem that I expect would be hard to find elsewhere. We enjoyed it so much we booked a personal Masada, Dead Sea & En Gedi trip with friends. Thank you Marc for sharing your passion, knowledge and taking care of us in Israel.

This tour was incredible!! Definitely outside my originally expected budget, but after such a strong recommendation, I decided to invest in making my one day in Jerusalem super educationally rich. I was not disappointed in the least. Marc is eloquent, approachable, friendly, and catered to my religion education level (embarrassingly low), and is a great story teller. Seeing and experiencing Jerusalem in person was life changing. I left with a deep appreciation for the complexity of the city of Jerusalem and a much greater understanding of the overlapping cultures present there. I would highly recommend his tours to anyone. Thank you Marc!!

Marc Coles is extremely knowledgeable in the history, geography and many hidden gems in Israel. It was the most comprehensive tour I’ve ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed!!
