Our family of four had an outstanding experience with Erad. His knowledge and understanding of the history of Israel along with his knowledge of the many archeological sites, cities, and local nuances is tremendous. Equal to that was the time he took to get to know and take time with each of us. He is as kind and genuine as he is smart and informed.
Among the highlights of our four days with Erad included visiting Tzfat, Ein Gedi, Masada, Tel Dan, Masada, and a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem.

My ONLY regret about posting this is that it took me so long! (Sorry, Erad!)
We arranged an eleven day trip in July, 2018 and were a family of seven that covered three generations - from 15 to 80 years old. This was a birthday gift for my mother who turned 80 this year. Prior to our departure, my husband communicated several times with Erad to plan the perfect sightseeing experience. With each communication, Erad gave his honest feedback about what and how much we should plan to accomplish each day. We did the Christian tour of Israel and while my husband had full confidence in Erad, I was initially a bit skeptical. We had heard of tour guides who have a tendency to infuse their own religious beliefs in the tour. From the moment Erad picked us up to the last day when we said our good-byes, Erad completely tailored and personalized our tour for us. His knowledge of the history of Israel FAR exceeded anything we could have imagined. He not only had an in depth knowledge on all aspects of the Christian impact, but demonstrated an in-depth expertise on many other religions and eras. He shared his history and knowledge in a way that educated and made us eager to learn more and gave us a greater appreciation for all that we experienced. Every day was a perfectly planned day - from what we saw, to what and where we ate. He made every day and every experience mentally, spiritually, and emotionally rewarding.
My family and I honestly cannot say enough about Erad. We have truly made a lifelong friend. We have and will continue to highly recommend him. Your tour guide may give you a great sightseeing trip, but the right tour guide will give you a lifetime of cherished memories to share. Erad did just that and we will be forever grateful.

My husband and I were so fortunate to have had Erad Omer as our private guide while visiting Israel: he made us feel like we were leisurely exploring the country with our kindest and smartest friend, rather than being led around by a tour guide. He possessed an intuitive ability to gauge exactly how much to show and tell us each day as he shared with us both his love for Israel and his compassion for all of Her people. Our many questions, no matter how naive or cynical, were patiently answered with measured and intelligent responses and without judgment. Erad's breadth of knowledge is extraordinary, as is his ability to share it in a way that kept us entertained and amused. Whether visiting the great tourist sights like Masada and Jerusalem's Old City, enjoying a float in the Dead Sea or indulging in a gastronomic tour of Mahane Yehuda, Erad had something new and interesting to share with us every step of the way. We learned so much, and enjoyed every moment of our journey with him.

Erad was fantastic. I lived in Israel 20 years ago but hadn't been back until this past summer. I learned so much about the past, present and future of Israel. Not only is he first rate in his understanding of Israeli and Jewish history, he is really laid back and easy to be around. I would highly recommend anybody looking for a tour guide to hire Erad.

We traveled to Israel for our son's Bar Mitzvah with a group of nine family members, adults and kids, and by the end of our 10-day tour, Erad had become a part of our family. He is professional, genuine and sincere, and his knowledge of the history of Israel and its people far exceeded our expectations. He was wonderful with the kids and adults, and made everyone in our diverse group feel like they were getting to see and experience what they wanted. I really can't express how central and meaningful he was to our experience - he made our trip fun and profound in ways that we never expected and we all left with a much deeper appreciation of the history, politics, and culture of the country. We were so fortunate to have Erad as our tour guide, and now friend. We can't wait to go back for our younger son's Bar Mitzvah!

Our guided tour of Israel by Yair Zeider was fantastic. He knew so much about Israeli history, geology, archeology, religions, flora and fauna, politics, cultures and customs... he was a virtual walking encyclopedia of Israel. And when Yair (rarely) didn't know the exact answer to one of our many questions, he was back the next day with a full report. And there were a number of younger children and a few teens in our group and amazingly he held their attention and interacted wonderfully with them.
I would heartily recommend Yair for anyone looking for a quality tour of Israel.

Erad was as much a part of our trip as all of the sights we saw while in Israel. He was absolutely part of our family during the trip, and brought every aspect of the trip to life. From our drives in between cities, to the museums, monuments, cities, meals and other parts of the wonderful country, Erad made sure there was a story to every aspect we experienced. Additionally, Erad was fantastic with our children - helping them stay engaged and understand the importance of everything we saw. It was a wonderful week in Israel, made whole by Erad's presence each step of the way.

Erad provided me and my father with a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Israel. First and foremost, Erad is an extremely kind and accommodating person. He makes sure you are comfortable and prepared before any trip he takes you on. Any question you have to ask, he has an answer, and usually more than that. Traveling through Israel with Erad provided me and my father with an expansive understanding of the geography, culture, and history of Israel that we could not have gotten any other way. Always respectful of our opinions, Erad was not shy to jump into discussions about the politics of Israel and all the hot-button issues of the day. As such, we were immersed in the country in ways beyond merely visiting important places. Anyone lucky enough to spend any time with Erad should take advantage immediately. Cheers.

I participated in a group trip with Erad as a tour guide and he made the trip amazing all around Israel. Erad was a knowledgeable, funny, insightful, passionate, and overall wonderful tour guide. He also had fun facts to share, and a story to tell. Erad made sure we learned and had fun throughout the tour. I would highly recommend using Erad as a guide.

I recently spent a wonderful week in Israel with my daughter with Erad as our guide. I had heard that Israeli guides are good because they are required to take extensive training to become certified. Erad however far exceeded my expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable in all areas and I learned a lot. He really went out of his way to make our trip memorable and fun and to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I am looking forward to returning to Israel to explore more of the country with Erad as my guide.
