Excellent one-day trip to one of many valleys by the Dead Sea. Tropical Desert team was making sure that even someone with little experience in climbing feels comfortable and safe. Gorgeous views, exciting adventure with very competent, well-organized and trustworthy people.

I joined Tropical Desert several time for more than destination, Canyons rook climbing,,,

Exciting outfit with knowlegeable and proffesional staff. Our guides where competent in English, friendly and provided good equipment and clear instructions to complete a well rounded adventure through one of Jordan's hidden treasures. Good food, hydration and transportation from drop off and pick up points all contributed to a memorable experience and an eco-friendly tour.

We went twice on a trip with Tropical Desert. Well organized, nice guides, and very competent with regards to abseiling. In Wadi Heba, we had amazing local food!

The guide who came with us from Amman wasn't even a guide. He called himself a "a risk assessor!". The local guide in Ajloun was rude and abusive. We literally had to run away from him. What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing hike in the forests of Ajloun turned out to be a day from HELL.
We will take this to the Ministry of Tourism. This is a disaster for Jordanian tourism.

We went with Tropical Desert to Wadi Balou, and I think we were the first group taken there. The guides were fun, relaxed guys and at the same time they were all excellent on the ropes and well trained in this. The tour was a real adventure, and the scenery and the narrow, high canyon and deep waterfalls were stunning. Also, in my view, the trip was very affordable, considering the equipement, four guides, trip, foot, etc.../
On the downside even with 4 guides, a group of 14 turned out too large there were hour-long waiting times before or after the fall and the trip took a few hours longer than expected. So, these are, perhaps, first-time glitches. I'm sure the regular tours are free of them.

My boys ( 7 &10 yrs) and I had a marvelous adventure with wonderful guides ( Yasin, Moh'd and Laith) We learnt a lot and enjoyed every second of the hike. Thank you for the experience , you guys rock 👍

It was my first time hiking, the guides (Rami and Sandra) made the trip super fun and they played an important role leading us through. Rami helped me with all the downhills which was very kind of him. I'm coming back to Jordan again!

The guides are super professional, personable, really funny and great to be around. I went on 2 trips (one to Wadi Mukheiris and one to Wadi Heba) and both were absolutely incredible and really different. If you are looking to get out into nature and experience Jordan, this is the way to go! Cannot recommend it enough.

I went hiking with Tropical desert many times to different canyons and I have to say they maintained a high level of professionalism in all 3 trips.
the guides are so friendly and well trained and they make you feel comfortable because they follow all safety instructions.
If I ever going hiking again I will always choose tropical desert.
