Located inside the Bob al Bahrain Souq, we visited it briefly. My driver had to ask for direction as it is located in a very narrow, dead end street.
Vendors outside the gate told us that it was closed, but a man opened it for us. I was impressed bu the beautiful, colorful walls of the building. On the left side, the building was covered up for some repairs but noted tourists getting inside. Took some photos here before leaving.

Ravissant petit temple hindou à l’intérieur du souk de Bab el Bahrain. Un événement avait lieu le jour où nous sommes entrés. Il nous a été offert un lassi et la possibilité d’assister à la cérémonie.

Beautiful Hindu Temple in the middle of Bab el Bahrain. Dry friendly staff and beautiful architecture. Everyone can visit regardless of their religion.

A very old Hindu temple in Bahrain. Managed and maintained by Tattai Mercantile community. Follows the traditions of Sreenathji temple in Gujarat. Patronised by Bahrain Cultural aothority and is a tourist destination within Manama. However, parking is a problem and is within a congested market area. Open in mornings and evenings all days.

I am a very religious person .I believe that there is unity in diversity; as we may worship many Gods but God is one. worship 🙏 is peace. I respect all religions .I visited Shri Krishna temple thrice and the first day tears came out of my eyes. I found myself near God. I had a second visit last week and was glad to see foreigners visiting the temple . Bahrain is a very peaceful country and today when I visited this temple I saw lovely pigeons flapping around for grains . Love God and love all living beings.

A very old Hindu temple of Sreenathji. Well maintained, a must visit attraction in Manama. It is inside the Suq (Market area), hence no parking access. However, can club the suq and temple vist together

Joli temple indou au milieu de la vieille ville et au fond d'une impasse, pas facile à trouver.
Une fois entrés, c'est simple, coloré et calme, incitant au recueillement.

It was my first visit to this temple for Thanksgiving & to seek Lord Krishna's blessings.
The temple is under renovation and hopefully will look better in the coming months. However, once inside, the atmosphere is serene. One can sit in peace and meditate. With God, everything is possible!!

You can say indian temples simply are kitsch, everywhere, but this one was really worse than anything i've seen in India
