‪Wonderful Bike Tour!‬

‪My husband and I had a wonderful bike tour around Punta Del Este. We arrived by cruise ship and met Alicia on the pier, as scheduled. Punta Del Este is a beautiful town to ride bikes with its shoreline beaches and flat terrain. Alicia is knowledgeable and makes the ride fun. Highly recommend this bike tour!‬

‪Great bike tour in Montevideo!‬

‪We had a great (super hot) bike tour with Alicia through Montevideo. My husband and I and 2 other couples - so a nice sized group. Mid January 2023. Alicia met us right at the port, right on time. Super informative, very proud and passionate Uruguayan! Lovely time. Very, very reasonably priced. Bikes were okay - my husband is 6'2" so his bike height was less than ideal but considering it is a very easy ride, it was no problem at all.‬

‪We arrived on the cruise ship Celebrity Infinity on Feb 10 2023.
Had a nice trip around some of the city and to the lighthouse.
The bikes were in good condition and our guide was informative.‬

‪Never book with this Company!‬

‪We booked a bike tour in December. We were on a cruise ship and the tour was booked for 10am. We got off the cruise ship and took a taxi to the meeting point only to find no bike tour. We had no wifi on the ship so checked our email (using roaming so very expensive) and found an email from the company sent at 9.45pm the previous night saying the tour had changed to 9am. We tried calling and sending a WhatsApp but nobody answered. We had booked the tour through Civitatis so we contacted them via email. They were very good at responding to all our emails and got in touch with Bike Uruguay who insisted that we had gone on the tour at 12pm (not 9am as stated in the email that we received) and sent a photo of the tour group of which they said we were a part of!!! We then had to send photos of ourselves to prove that we weren’t in the photo that they had sent. After a lot of back and forth they were adamant that we had been on the tour and refused to give us a refund. The reason I have taken so long to write this review is that this has been an ongoing saga. Unfortunately there is nothing further we can do as they have refused to give us a refund insisting we were on the tour.‬

‪My husband & I did the Peninsula tour with Alicia on a day when our cruise ship was in Punta del Este. Alicia met us on the dock. She provided us with a helmet, bike, a safety vest & a bottle of water. She was excellent. During the ride we had various stops where she provided information. The ride was almost all flat except for one very short uphill to visit the lighthouse. The price was reasonable & it was fun!‬

‪Tuve la oportunidad de hacer un tour por el aniversario 115 de Punta Del Este y estuvo muy bueno! La guia nos llevó por diferentes puntos que suelen ser turisticos y otros un poco ignorados y nos contó datos interesantes. Sin dudas recomiendo y volvería a hacer otro tour, gracias!‬

‪Excelente paseo para conocer la historia y principales puntos de interés de Punta del Este.

Punta es la ciudad ideal para pasear en bicicleta: la ciudad es plana, los autos van más despacio, y hay vistas increíbles por dónde mires.

El paseo por la península dura alrededor de 2 horas, con una buena mezcla entre pedalear y parar para aprender sobre la ciudad.

Cualquiera que sepa andar en bicicleta puede hacer el paseo, no hace falta entrenamiento ya que el recorrido es corto, plano y con varias pauses.

100% recomendado tanto para turistas como para locales!‬
