‪Lo visitamos con una guia privada, cosa que aconsejo totalmente, ya que es un museo muy interesante, con mucha historia y detalles que sino te explican pierdes la mitad del
Simbolismo.
Me parecio una maravilla y lo disfrute totalmente.
Nosotros lo hicimos con Sami de la empresa Bogotravel y fue todo un acierto.‬

‪Un gran lugar para visitar en Bogotá‬

‪Estuve acompañando a familiares que quería conocerlo y como museo es una gran experiencia, llegar en vehículo particular no es fácil porque está en el centro de la ciudad y el tráfico es bastante complicado.‬

‪The history of gold use in Colombia was very well presented and interesting. If you are 60 or over its free entry otherwise just a couple of quid. Nice cafe.

‪This museum is well worth a visit really interesting. The restaurant at the Museum was possibly some of the best food we tasted whilst in Bogotá - a lucky find ! Service and wine impeccable.‬

‪This museum houses an extensive and impressive collection of indigenous artifacts. Come and awe at all the expertly crafted gold works of art, and leave with a much deeper understanding of indigenous history, cosmology and way of life.

Learn about how the peoples and traditions of this land spurred the myth of 'El Dorada' in the colonial Spanish imagination.

Definitely pay extra for the audio guide.‬

‪Sunday is Free, Don't Pay for Tour‬

‪The gold museum is nice and pretty, but I wouldn't make this your only activity for the day. The descriptions on the walls are in English and Spanish. I highly recommend not paying for a tour, as the tour companies in Bogota appear to target foreigners and charge high prices for a place you can honestly tour yourself. There are several floors of exhibits, and I recommend you go first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds.‬
