‪Amazing Intro to Seoul's Food Scene‬

‪Daniel was a fantastic host, my wife and I did the ultimate food tour which lasted for around 4.5 hours. We hit Noryangjin Fish Market, Gwangjang Market, and Ikseongdong to cap the night off, all of which were delicious! Daniel is a knowledgeable, fun and down to earth guy who was very accommodating to all our requests and planned a really great evening for the two of us. He went above and beyond giving us lots of restaurant recommendations in Seoul as well as for our upcoming holiday to Jeju island. One of the best things we've done in Seoul so far! Highly recommend!‬

‪Daniel is incredibly passionate about food, culture and, most importantly, about everyone's experience. He's taken my daughter and I through the most amazing culinary and cultural experiences two years in a row....I highly recommend Daniel!!‬

‪Daniel's tour is great, and Daniel is a fun person to hang out with for a few hours. The BBQ restaurant was awesome, and after some street food, you will leave the tour full!‬

‪Daniel Gray, personable, articulate, knowledgeable and FUN! The tour was exceptional! We explored and tasted many different rounds of food, starting with Korean BBQ. It was delicious! Daniel was the perfect host! His associate, Yoon was very helpful as well! We ate lots at different places while Daniel gave us a tour of the area as well. He even handled my son's food allergy discreetly. I LOVED this walking, eating tour! Highly recommend! Highlight of our trip! Well worth the cost!‬

‪Although food is normally a big part of my trips, I've never explored the background of the food markets properly. Dan has a great sense of humour, is knowledge about not only what we were eating but the cultural significance behind everything too.

With his background in food (blog, bars, restaurants and TV) this was one of the most interesting part of my trip to Seoul. Don't fill up on lunch, I was so full after this tour! Highly recommended.‬

‪Excellent food and culture tour‬

‪Daniel was a superb host. His choice of restaurants and stalls was excellent; this is very important in Seoul because there are so many options available. In addition, Daniel was both food historian and cultural guide. He went out of his way to engage both my 18-year-old and me in discussions about food as well as contemporary Korean culture, ranging from education to the arts. I am a less adventurous eater than I would like, but everything we ate was of the highest quality (and delicious). We highly recommend this tour for people who want to understand the Seoul food culture.‬

‪Daniel was an excellent host! Tried lots of different options and each one was delicious and better than anything we found on our own. Highly recommend this, but bring your appetite! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this.‬

‪Keep in mind I love doing food tours in any country I visit. Because I want to eat a bit of everything, so the best thing to do is join a tour where you get to try a bit at up to a dozen great places and not let your stomach be your limitation.

Daniel is great. Truly kind and wants you to have a great experience. Really happy about my choice!‬

‪Fantastic food tour‬

‪This evening food tour is a must do for a visitor to Seoul. Our knowledgeable food guide Dan, brought us to various restaurants and food stalls throughout the Mullaedong district. I don’t eat meat but Dan was able to make excellent accommodations for me. There is So much unusual and yummy food that is to be had. Dan explained everything and encouraged us to try all types of food and drink. You must come hungry!! We had a small group so the tour felt like going out with friends. The meet up place was easy. I have a new appreciation for Korean cuisine. Thank you Dan!‬

‪Our guide was really cool and knowledgeable. The tour felt more like a really informative conversation than someone talking at us which was perfect. We got to try a bunch of different things; Korean BBQ, some sort of doughnut, chicken at a night market and some sort of egg battered meat and vegetables. Our one complaint is that, while the tour was a lot of fun, it was not at all what the description said.‬
