Rasha was awesome! We spent 2 very full days with her in Giza then Cairo. She was full of information, she was kind and efficient. She is a wealth of experience and knowledge! She did not feed us to sales people (her friends who owned shops or restaurants) like other guides. She taught us how to navigate Cairo and since we were new to Egypt her guidance was invaluable! The vehicles were nice, roomy, air conditioned, and she always had excellent drivers (after we previously got lost with a driver who did not seem to see well, a safe and excellent Cairo driver was much appreciated)! A good guide is where you want to invest a large chunk of your Egypt travel budget because it will enhance your experience. We highly recommend Rahsa and would use her again if we returned to Cairo. (As we were touring, I think 5 other guides told us we have the best guide in Egypt and I believe them). I love supporting local and female guides and that is what you get with Rasha! We recommended her to another group we met in Luxor who needed a Cairo guide! So we sent her more business before we even left the country! Thank you, Rasha!

Rasha was an incredible guide. We spent a day exploring the pyramids and a day in Cairo. We only had four days to experience Cairo, so she maximized our time fully. Also, we were traveling with our six-year-old son, and I was worried he wouldn't do well on the tours. I couldn't believe how much he absorbed, and Rasha paced the trip perfectly. We moved at a good enough pace to get everything in and learn a lot but didn't stay so long that our son got restless. She was knowledgable and thorough and had wonderful expertise both in how to plan our day and the history.

Definitively is an experience that I strongly recommend, Rasha arranged some private tours for us and everything was excellent. She made our visit to Cairo a very memorable one, we was there just few days and she arranged the itinerary in some way that allowed us to see most touristic places and learn from her deep knowledge about this great culture.

I just spent two full days w Rasha in Cairo. She is a real professional and takes pride in her job. This was my second visit in Cairo and my two days with her was an excellent refresher.
Things I liked including her punctuality, her ability to explain the days agenda, her explanations when visiting somewhere. The driver was also excellent. And two good local lunches.

Rasha was charming, knowledgeable, with an easy ability to relate. She was responsive from the first email exchange and in tune with our needs. When we were delayed the first night to see Old Cairo with Rasha she kindly added the tour on at the end of a thorough tour of Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. Rasha brought the stories behind the hieroglyphics alive with her enthusiastic interpretation. With a full day planned she suggested lunch on the go and it was perfect. Lunch was purchased at a local food stand and it was absolutely delicious… falafel wrap with additional local flavors! Rasha provided in-depth history plus explanations about current day culture as we drove the countryside.
Late afternoon Rasha walked us through Old Cairo, a Mosque, the markets and we had an engaging conversation while enjoying our evening meal. The day was absolutely perfect and Rasha helped us see so much of Cairo we would have missed on our own!
Our driver demonstrated the highest of manners, efficiently drove through the crazy traffic and had a lovely personality.
Everyone should enjoy Cairo with Rasha!

I booked a tour in Cairo to visit the Pyramids with a Portuguese speaker Guide.
Egypt Daily Tours at first tried to book me a English speaker guide but I couldn't answer at the time and they end up getting me a Portuguese speaker Guide.
This Guide was extremely friendly that's a plus but things started getting twisted right at the beginning of our tour.
Before explaining this I want to mention I always tip my driver and guides even with them not doing nothing special and even with them trying to scam me I end up giving tip to them to the driver and guide you give me yesterday, because I don't care about the money what I don't like is people's ways and actions that'a why I'm doing this review here and I hope Egypt Daily Tours makes sure in the future they stop contracting scammers.
Anyway as I was saying my tour guide tried to mental guilt me in to give him a tip by saying he was giving me for free entrance at Saqqara tombs when they are part of the ticket I paid to get in! I don't know if he thinks I'm dum or what!
Afterwards when we went to Giza Pyramids he took us to a office for Horse Carriage and insisted to us to use them instead of let's us get in and we do our tours the way we want and negotiate prices inside.
He started talking about the big 1 hours tour costing 75usd person but with him talking with them because he is my friend I can get 60usd person instead. I told him no and I told the horse carriage manager no as well after they end up making our tour with a horse carriage for 30usd person that still a rip off and I was being scammed anyway but I was so tired of it and I did the tours anyway.
Because I got the price down from 75usd to 30usd person the manager end up saying to me I know your friend (tour guide) he brings customers to me all the time 😂 I already know that but was nice to see him confirming everything.
I considered two options or do it for 30usd person or leave the tour guide the horse carriage manager and the driver and get in by ourselves and go to hotel afterwards by ourselves.
We end up doing the tour knowing I was being scammed and in the end I even give them a tip to both of them 100 to the driver and 200 to the tour guide he wants to give me a huge and call me friend ok no problem as I said I don't give a dam about the money that's not the point for me and that's why I'm writing this review here people's actions is what get us me and my wife upset and Egypt Daily Tours needs to be aware of it and don't do the same mistake by connecting us to tour guide scammers. And do a better job giving customers address to their guides Egypt Daily Tours send our guide to a different hotel when I clearly send them the correct address when I did the booking on booking.com.

Dear Sir, You have mistaken my listing with a company listed on other travel sites (booking.com). I did not provide any service for you. I am only listed on Trip Advisor and not on any other Travel sites.
My name is Rasha Elashmawy, a freelance English speaking tour guide. I only arrange sightseeing tours around Cairo for English speaking guests with myself as a guide, I do not contract suppliers to service my guests or arrange tours for any other languages except English (my licence as a tour guide is for English language guiding).
Egypt Daily Tours is my trading name for over 20 years. As you can see from my previous reviews, for all those years I never had a review that was less than excellent or at least very good as I take excellent care of my guests and do my utmost to make their stay as enjoyable as it could be.
From my previous reviews you will see that I never do any shopping or side stops during the tours. With regards to any services my guests decide to purchase when we are visiting the sites; (horse or carriage rides etc.) it is done in the free time allocated for photo shooting. As per my role as a guide, I only provide advice and guidance but never interfere any further or recommend any specific provider.
I think this is a mistaken identity as I did not provide any service for you. My website is www.egyptdailytours.com. Since 2004.
As per our messages, you booked your trip on Booking.com. I am not listed on booking .com. I kindly ask you to remove your post and add it to the company you booked with on Booking.com. Let me point out that the trading names are not a registered trade mark. Unfortunately, I can not stop anyone from using my trading name especially if they are using it on other travel websites where I am not listed. Thank you. Kind regards.

Absolutely amazing. So much information was given . It was my 3rd time at the pyramids but first with a tour guide. Going with a tour guide is a must.

A guide is essential if visiting Cairo and Rasha does the job perfectly. Well organised and communicates well which puts the tired traveller at ease! Plenty of knowledge and guidance around the main attractions to make the most of the hundreds of sights to see. Highly recommended!

No doubt you're excited about a trip of a lifetime to Egypt. There could be no one better ( except perhaps Queen Nefertiti herself) to be your guide. Rasha understands people whether they are modern or the ancient Egyptians from 5000 years ago.
You can tell she enjoys her job because ordinary people say hello everywhere she goes and you feel like a local when you are with her, rather than a tourist. We enjoyed the most interesting conversations, her knowledge and humour is perfect and the air conditioned transport was always on time whether at the airport or my hotel. I assure you there is no one better than Rasha.

Rasha delivered guiding and touring in Cairo beyond our wildest expectations. Rasha is an extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous guide who showed us her Cairo.
We visited the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, Khan el-Khalili, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Salah Al-Din Al-Ayoubi Castle (Citadel), and The Egyptian Museum.
Her guiding was thorough and her knowledge astounding. We learnt so much from her.
Rasha even took us to a local Koshari "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant, and suggested some local BBQ restaurants as well.
Rasha operates a very professional guiding operation, and communicating with her was extremely easy and her responses quick. We were driven in a very comfortable air-conditioned car, and always felt safe and welcome.
Rasha - Cairo would not have been the same without you (and Mahmoud who drove us everywhere).

hola. he preguntado en varias agencias y me dicen que el gobierno tiene prohibido los tours a esta zona desde hace un tiempo y que no tiene definido cuando se vuelve a abrir. como hiciste para hacer este tour?

Interesante recordar que si pasas por la embajada, son cinco minutos y siempre les agrada ver a Españoles, ellos te van informando continuamente de las zonas conflictivas, mediante mensaje. No solamente para éste país, suelo hacerlo en todos. Siempre viajo sola y así me encuentro más arropada. Suerte y feliz estancia
