‪One of the best experiences! William and his team were great, very experienced and knowledgable, as well as friendly. The food during our trip was excellent. Everything ran smoothly and was very well planned. The trip had flexibility, and could be adjusted to suit what you wanted from the experience. We would definitely book with William again.‬

‪Mountkenyaclimbing highly recommended!‬

‪I am so happy that I chose MountKenyaClimbing for a private tour! Before I had big problems with another company, because I climbed in the rainy season.

Daniel is an absolutely reliable sales manager in the office, he gave me all the necessary information about the trip, like weather, drinking water, equipment,... just at the right moment. He answered all my questions per email quickly and patiently. He never forced me to confirm quickly and pay immediatly, but would let me decide only 3 days before and check the weather again. So customer friendly, relaxed and super professional! He knew, if he offers high quality service, I will book! 👍

Then the whole trip was a big success! I could rent some gear, the itinerary was well planned, Sirimon route is the best in the rainy season, huts and hotels were a very good choice, the sleeping bag was warm and the food was really excellent!
Robin, my guide, and the whole team, Michael, Gabriel and Joseph did a great job, so I reached the summit easily. Robin knew a lot about plants. The price of the private trip was also reasonable.

I can highly recommend MountKenyaClimbing and will book again! Especially as they offer not only other trips in Kenya, but also in Tanzania and Uganda!

Thanks to Daniel, Michael and the team! It was a wonderful experience! You shaped my picture of Kenya!‬

‪Outstanding experience‬

‪William is a great tour organiser who will take care of all your wishes. Just tell him what you like to do and he will figure out a plan for you. He offers reasonable prices and has contacts all over Kenya, so that he can also arrange tours far away from Mt Kenia‬

‪Mt Kenya Sirimon to Chogoria 4 days‬

‪We climbed Point Lenana coming from Sirimon Gate within 3 days. Our adaptation to the thin air did pretty well and our guide found his way in complete darkness as we started on 3 am at Shipton´s camp to reach summit at sunrise. We had a clear wonderful morning.
We did our tour also in reminding the climb of Mt Kenya performed by my father in law 50 years ago in 1973. He is still alive at age 99 and was very interested in hearing all the details.
We crossed Mt Kenya to Lake Ellis and the Chogoria Gate. William Mutwiri +254 720 462650 did a great job and was very reliable in any detail.‬

‪Probably the best climb in Africa‬

‪We climbed Mt Kenya in Aug. 2022. Mt Kenya is an impressive unspoiled area and mountain in Africa. We had unfortunately pretty bad weather, January Feb is told to be best.
Go with a good guide and porters. Take waaarm cloths and sleeping back. it freezes on the top. Don't underestimate the elevation...‬

‪My father and I climbed just this last week and had a great time. The mountain was beautiful and provided us with unforgettable memories. William and his team were well prepared, resourceful, friendly, and provided all that we needed. Overall a great experience!‬

‪Great Mt Kenya hiking experience‬

‪I'm not an avid hiker but going with William's team helped me (and my four friends) summit Mt Kenya. William is very patient, knowledgeable about the park and a good hiking partner. The best part was the food because the cook made us such great meals and in very complicated circumstances.
I recommend going with William to Mt. Kenya!‬

‪Mt Kenya with a Group‬

‪We hiked Mt Kenya on the Chigoria route in late January. There were 10 of us including three 11 year old boys and with the help of William and his great crew we all made it to the top. The crew went out of there way to meet our needs. We had plenty of good food along the way. We were blessed with beautiful weather on the trip and had a great time. We would highly recommend William and his crew to anyone and if we hike Kilimanjaro next year we will definitely be using them again.‬

‪An exceptional support team and a magical mountain‬

‪My seven day Mount Kenya trek, starting from Chogoria, climbing to Point Lenana, and descending via the Sirimon Route was organised by GoTo Mount Kenya. I cannot recommend them highly enough from every point of view. The person to contact is Evans Mwangi, the Chief Guide (details on their website). The Mountain itself is magical and that I was able to I was able to negotiate the climb and enjoy it fully was very largely down to my great guide, Paul who seems to know every inch of the mountain and was very good at coordinating his team. He even had me recognizing Hagenia byssinica and other flora and fauna. The excellent support team included David, who always produced a tasty hot meal just when and where it was needed, Daniel and Benton, who saw to it that camp was always set up ready for our arrival, and would always go the extra mile to give any help needed. They were all great company on the trek and all very good at what they do. I was in no doubt that I was in safe and capable hands. Thank you, Go To Mount Kenya.‬

‪We thoroughly enjoyed our Mount Kenya trek and were very grateful for Sam, our brilliant guide, and our fantastic porters and cook.

We would most definitely recommend Mount Kenya Climbing Expeditions - Daniel was very helpful and patient in answering all of our questions. A trip and trek we will never forget!‬
