This Spa is in a great place in Chongqing, and well worth a vist after you have been out walking all day. There are about 30 different pools, upto about 40 degrees. A good experience. From here you can walk down to the river and along the boardwalk, which is great on a clear night.

第一次体验城市民宿，海棠晓月的环境不错，还可以泡温泉，离南滨路也很近，交通很方便，房主很热情的招待，美食推荐都好棒，下次还会再来

Pros:
Excellent location close to town, next to the Crowne Plaza Riverside. I recommend combining this with a cable car run (take the cable car south, then hop on a cab or tricycle for a 5-min trip to the hot spring resort).
A good number of pools to choose from, both indoors and open-air, each with a specific medicinal property at varying temperatures. (I usually see one paltry herb bag in each pool, so frankly not sure about the efficacy as claimed).
Massage services available. Also smallish swimming pools for the kiddos, complete with a modest water slide and 'beach' playing area.
Clean shower and locker areas.
The cons:
There is no pre-dip shower in the main springs area, and it'd appear that it's not a cultivated habit locally. Certain pools looked particularly suspect with a thin layer of oil on the surface -- yikes!
Note:
Bring your own swimsuit (no nudity here like in Japan). Only ones on sale in the resort and in surrounding shops are pretty colorful and frilly and come in local sizes only.

Attached to the Hot Springs Hotel, and an incredible way to relax - so many pools to choose from, as well as affordable massage and services. Pools included: milk, lemon, liquorice, apple, grape, wine...it's perfect. :)
The only way This could have been made better was a larger range of temperatures to work with - it was advised to start with cooler pools and work your way to the quite hot ones, however there seemed to be mostly 41-44C, only a few pools were 38-40C
I do hope to return though, overall a great time.

It is difficult to believe that this place is only a stones throw from the Yangtze River, right by Nanping and the centre of this urban sprawl. It isn't cheap (200 per person unless you buy the online coupon which makes it half price for couples) but if you stay here all day and take advantage of the free buffet served between 6-9 then it becomes a better price. It isn't the newest facility, but is quite well maintained. There are hot pools, flavoured pools, swimming pools as well as massages available at an extra charge. The foot massage was excellent. The weather when we went was perfect for sitting in the sun or in the shade of the trees. Very enjoyable. You'll find it right next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in fact they share the same entrance.

Double gold on value. We had an apartment and free entry tickets daily to the spa complex. A veritable forest perched on a podium central to this 30 million plus city, Apart from the air pollution ever present in many parts of China, Haitang Xiaoyue Hot Spring Resort is double gold for value. You must remember this. Mind boggling. Hard to find value experience.
If you can cope with a city of this size, this is a uncanny oasis. For A$86 ( CNY 409) per night we got "Room Type: Deluxe Suite A with 2 Breakfast Included (2 Hot-spring Tickets)". Staggering value. On that you can rely. We stayed April 2014. Is Haitang Xiaoyue Hot Spring Resort Chongqing good value? Much more than this, Haitang Xiaoyue Hot Spring Resort Chongqing is better than good value.

Taken here by some friends who had some free entry vouchers so can't quote entry fee but still believe it is very good value for a relaxing day or afternoon in the herbal waters or swimming pools.Generally very clean with plenty of available drinking water which you will need as most pools are at mid to high 30'sC .Couple of little maintenance issues with some "pressure water jets" not functioning and a few cracks in the "bubble jet lounges" which need attention. Very good security system run through a wristband issued on arrival.....do not be alarmed when male and female appear to change in the same room...private change cubicles are available...and then there are different passageways for each sex.Good quality towels are used and,after your bathing,can change into sterilised shorts and tops to partake of the lounge or dining areas.
Not particularly busy on day of my visit so the 79RMB buffet at the Europa Western Restaurant
was a bit sparse in content but well presented.Again a few tweeks like some labels on the dishes and cold beer...not warm...would improve the dining experience. Did not partake of anything from snack bar so can't comment.
Not as modern as the newer Ronghui Hot Springs in Shapingba but more variety of herbal pools....and maybe not as busy.

地处南岸，紧邻皇冠假曰酒店，周围也有一楼盘。里面还是不错的，提供好多种池子包括鱼池，很放松的地方，我们团购了自助餐的温泉卷。还算划算的。

Nice environment , many different pools experience . With Entry fee RMB79 you can enjoy nice hot spring, and enjoy complimentary fruits. I will definitely come back when I visit Chongqing

很不错！性价比很高！而且服务周到热情，温泉也是真的，洗得非常舒服！
和北京一些温泉不同，北京那些地热水洗得非常难受，还敢自称温泉。要洗温泉，一定要上重庆去！海棠晓月是我很喜欢的一家。因为干净，舒适，而且备葡萄糖水，你随时晕，他们随时给你递上一杯，真的是很热情周到。我最喜欢水果池，其实人的皮肤也是有味觉的，你洗白醋泉就洗得不是很舒服，可洗水果泉，那就像身体在喝饮料一样舒服。我都不想起来。
