Waterside is a small, two floor commercial complex where you can find a small Wellcome supermarket, 711, Fairwood, a western bistro, stationary shop and a handful of tutorial & supplemental education centres for children in the area.
In short, this is a convenient shopping location for the area residents. However, Waterside is pretty small and lacks retail shopping. That is ok, just make your way to nearby MOSTown and Ma On Shan Plaza where you'll find much larger shopping venues more suitable for the majority of people.

This is a small shopping mall catering to local residents. It has nothing to offer except two restaurants. The place is very sleepy and uninteresting at all.

這兒是一座大型住宅屋苑附屬的小商場,基本上售賣的都是居民日常用品,沒有特別到此一遊的價值
如果是在附近海濱長廊或公園散步後,需要找地方吃飯或購買飲品,那麼尚可到此解決

馬鞍山のマンション下にあるショッピングモール。かなり規模は小さくレストラン数軒と子供のスクールが何件かあるぐらいです。週末は子連れの家族がたくさんいました。

ショッピングモールのわりに、お店が少なく、ほとんどが子供のための遊び場やバレエスクールなど。ちょっとしたファミレスもあるので、子連れにおすすめです。

Waterside Shopping Mall is a small commercial place that makes up the bottom two floors of the Waterside Residential complex at On Chun Street in Ma On Shan.
This is a small shopping centre where you find a handful of education and tutorial centres, a children's indoor play area, stationary shop, small supermarket and a few other service oriented businesses. In the past there have been Taiwanese and other eateries here. Presently, there is a locally operated western style bistro and a Fairwoods (local style Fast-food). That pretty much wraps up what is available at Waterside Shopping Mall.
In the end, this is a convenient place for residents at Waterside and other residential towers nearby. However, it is not a shopping destination for area residents of Ma On Shan or anyone who visits this community. Instead, just walk 5 minutes over to Sunshine City and/or Ma On Shan Centre where you will find modern retail shopping, coffee shops and restaurants.

This mall is mostly dead, full of realty shops (a true sign of a dead mall in HK) and children learning academies (another sign of a dead mall in HK). There is a huge 759 shop which is okay, plus a great congee shop on the 2nd floor next door to KFC. Fulum Palace Chinese restaurant is also on the 2nd floor but has always been empty when I visited. The landlords in HK have very poor business sense. Rather than lower rents to attract better shops, they would let their malls die.
