I have been in Hong Kong for a number of years and have always been on the look for relaxing places that offer great food. I found one before this Christmas - Lilya, at No. 77, Wyndam Street.
This Moroccan restaurant and bar is an unusually relaxing and beautiful place where you can eat a most delicious meal. Today I went there at noon time, and was quickly taken in by Lilya's cozy and culturally rich ambiance. The very friendly owner and the main chef went out of their way to say hello and when noticing my curiosity, they took time to tell me about their store decoration - obviously all materials was transported to HK from Morocco. They were proud to bring to this vibrant place yet another interesting touch of humanity.
I then sat down to look at my menu. I ordered a three-course meal, with their daily soup, a salad and a main. I was really impressed by their fish soup - when I squeezed in a wedge of lemon, the slightly tangy taste made my fish soup very unique and tasty. I also liked my Moroccan salad very much - I think I might have found a culture that could mix and prepare vegetables in a most palatable way. My main course was a total delight as well - the sea bass was gentle to taste and the range of vegetables cooked in the same tagine (Tajin in Arabic) gave me a rich layer of flavours. Finally, let me not forget about my mint tea - refreshing and satisfying.
Listening to Moroccan music, I finished my meal happily and decided to order another set of 3-course meal for take-away. I believe I deserve this type of treat living in HK, a very fast-pace place where most people are under a bit of pressure.

We Had a great enjoyable time in this restaurant,the food was delicious,and the service amazing,i found a morrocan girl who is working there "meryam" she's so nice with clients,and very hard working.. she helps us to find a table quikly because we didn't have a reservation!!so because of her we didn't wait for a long time to having a site.
Will thank u meryam :) So yeah we had a great time in this place Its becomes one of my favorite places in
Hong kong.

It was a last minute thing as on Saturday evening it’s very hard to get a reservation for dinner while you are having drinks in the afternoon. Now I understand why the place was almost empty though.
Great location, interesting decor and cool balcony area... the good news stop right here.
Service is sketchy: we’ve been taken care by 3 or 4 different waitresses, some thought they were fashion models some others were lost in translation. Nobody was able to provide a straightforward service by any means.
Food was the most disappointing thing: blend and insignificant, not even very warm and ingredients did not feel they had much flavour or quality. Even olives and bread tasted like nothing. Couscous was lumpy and tajines (vegetarian, chicken, lamb and fish) had no spices to them. Salad felt like airplane food.
Prices are not even worth 1/3 of what we ended up paying.
Moreover, it was disappointing that they asked my credit card before showing the bill then to find out that we’d been charged for some dish that actually was never served, so they offered to give cash back instead of cancelling the transaction. Weird place really!

Came for lunch, and they have several lunch options. the food tastes very fresh, ie flavors don't feel like they have come from from pre made pastes, but then again I'm not an expert.
Clear bonus for lunch is that there isn't many people so it makes for a nice quiet lunch. Decor is superb.

It’s our first time to try out Moroccan food and I have to say you would be attracted by the restaurant design upon arrival. It’s spacious and overall design is so Morocco & comfy. The food presentation is good and we love the sea bass & chicken. Both are pretty especially if you love herbs. Also, the dessert is my favorite and it’s good to come with the traditional Moroccan tea. Good experience so far!

数年前にモロッコを訪れてから、モロッコ料理やモロッカン・カフェ等が気になっていて、香港に来る前から調べて、ランチには間に合わなかったので、バー利用で訪れました。場所がわからなくて、こ迷いに迷い辿り着き、バーだけの予定でしたが居心地が良く、タジンも注文してしまいました。チキンも柔らかく、タジンもおすすめです。シーシャも楽しめる、本格的なモロッコ・スタイルです。スタッフの方々が素晴らしいです。

We went there for my partners bday! The cocktail n Shisha r amazing, environment is also very cozy. Because we went there after dinner so we didn’t try the foods yet but the foods there def looks tasty, will def go back again n try the foods next time as well!! Also the assistant manager Miriam is really lovely n sweet because of her, we had a good n amazing night there !! Thanks again :))

As you exit the elevator the wall of traditional Moroccan shoes that greets you, and we were told that’s a tradition, to every detail of the interiors is mesmerising. Limited food menu but makes up with quality. No worries on the liquidity though - extensive wine and spirits menu.
If you love lamb ... your desires will be satiated to the hilt - we tried almost all ‘lamb’ on offer and can say with confidence that it was amongst the best !!!

Lunch or dinner this place is awesome !!! the food is just so good. Best Moroccan chicken soup I have ever had. so yummy fresh and tasty . Great service, Mariam the manager is so nice and friendly. Great atmosphere and very chill . Only thing I will say is that a glass of wine at 118 HKD is crazy . That is centrals prices and some.
