Importante per capire dove si è. Per comprendere di quante diverse etnie e culture sia composta la popolazione di questa isola, eterogenea ma al tempo stesso accumunata da un senso di pace verso tutti. Si scopre la loro antica scrittura, caratteri incisi sul bambù. Il museo è molto piccolo, si visita in mezz'ora, l'ingresso costa poco più di un euro. Non c'è aria condizionata, se la giornata è molto calda, portatevi un ventaglio

リサル・アヴェニューの西側にある公園の南側に面して立っている博物館です。パラワン島の民俗資料を集めてみましたという感じですが、詳しい説明が無いので、なんだか良く判らないものもあります。
パラワン州政府庁舎の南にある博物館の方が内容が充実していて良かったです。

Das Museum befindet sich nicht allzuweit vom Kreuzfahrtanleger. Es hat Exponate zur Geschichte der Stadt und zu den lokalen Stämmen. Die Exponate sind annehmbar präsentiert und auch Englisch beschriftet. Leider hat das Gebäude keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur Ventilatoren, also am Morgen besuchen.

Interesting collection of cultural artifacts and shells. We found the information boards about the various Palawan cultural groups and the prehistoric settlements the most interesting. Only 60 pesos admission and worth it for those interested in Palawan culture and environment.

This is the first thing I look for when I sent foot on the island. They have a good introductory collection of both historical and natural artifacts. Though, the museum is a work in progress, the attempt to preserve the local culture is a good source of local pride and memory.

nice little building full of palawan's heritage. Information on animals, coral reef, ancient languages and show casing some artifacts as well.

いきなりのネタバレで申し訳ないが文字文化があるってスゴイ！！パラワン先住民の歴史、文化が展示されているのだが独自の古いアルファベット表が展示されている！日本では古来から文字が使われ日本書紀や古事記といった物もお馴染みなのであまりピンと来ないかもしれないが、世界的に見ても小規模先住民でこれだけ精緻な文字文化があるのは奇跡的。例えば大規模先住民ネイティヴアメリカンは文字が無く伝承文化。よって歴史は長いが記録がないのでそれらはどうしても神話的である。また語彙が少なく、ちなみに「赤」と言う言葉には深紅～オレンジ色と広範囲な意味になってしまう。しかしパラワン人、タグバヌア人、バタク人彼等は自分達の古い歴史を正確に伝えてきており、これが彼らの高いプライドのバックグラウンドだろう。他に細かく作られた古い日本の物にもよく似た工芸品や貝類などの展示もきれい。ここを見ると見ないではパラワンの人達に対する見方が全然変わるし、場所的にも規模的にも手軽に立ち寄れるのでオススメ！！

Non ci si puo' esimere dal visitare questo museo che renta in centro. E' modesto, ma sono raccolti reperti di vita e storia dell'isola.

50 peso admission. Located in the old City Hall building. Exhibits are on 2 floors and deals with the history of Palawan from caveman to the colonial period.
