This island is sometimes fully covered in water. But it is such a lovely place! There was a wonderful sand sculpture, a jumping platform, pure joy.

Lovely place.... Pickup from your hotel & drop off with meals & a guide. Great value.Daytime LU-Li island is there, &then disappear... Part of your Honda bay tour . Have Fun.

It was part of an island hopping tour that took us to Lulu Island.
We had lunch here. It was OK but nothing really special. The beach is lovely, but it was hot and very windy. I loved the hammocks on the beach. The area for swimming was nice, but the water is not very clear and not really good for snorkelling. Anyway, the two hours on Lulu island passed fast.

Part of the Honda Bay island hopping tour. Pretty island, but the designated swimming area is tiny and very crowded when there are several boat loads of tourists. No good snorkelling.
On the plus side, if you walk away from the main beach towards the trees at low tide you will see tons of interesting creatures in tide pools. Also, not many tourists go far out from the main beach, so you can find some solitude.

The thing that stands out about this island is the long sand bar. We tried walking the whole part of the island until the part where the mangroves are rather than just stay at the main part where the diving area is.
The flying flags along the sand bar add to the relaxing island feel. Watching and hearing the waves consisting of clear blue sea water coming to the shore gave me a truly calming effect. It is also a tribute to the locals how creative they can be. With a beer bottle, a shell and a coconut as props, you will be able to have a fun photo souvenir of your stay in the island. Try to stay a minimum of 1 hour and soak in the fresh sea air.

Seriously, Honday Bay Island Hopping is one of the best things I have done in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The moment I stepped my foot on this island. I instantly fell for this place. The long white sandbar is so amazing. In addition, you can go cliff diving in one of the spots on the island. A good place to chill with friends and families.

A bit of a waste of time this place. Could not find much to eat or drink. When it rained, it was pretty chilly.

There are two things to love about going to luli island. The hammocks as seen in the 3rd pic and the diving platform on the other side of the sandbar. There is no charge to stay in the hammocks. There is however a one hour limit but If there aren’t a lot of people, the caretakers usually don’t mind you staying there for a bit longer. There are hooks in the posts where you can hang your bags to.

It was high tide in the morning. Only a small portion of the sandbar can be seen. Only few fishes seen.
