A lovely park between the Rio Tomebamba and the Rio Yanuncay where they join. There are nature trails along the rivers, larger play spaces for kids, a small lake. A perfect place to go for a run, let the kids work off some energy, or have an easy picnic.

sitio descuidado, inseguro, sin lugares para parqueo, sucio sin juegos en buen estado,huecos por todos lados

Espectacular paraje, con unos árboles centenarios grandiosos y bellísimos, con un estanque con patos y peces y en definitiva un maravilloso lugar para relajarse, pasear y disfrutar del aire puro de Cuenca.

This is a fine park at the confluence of two rivers (Yanuncay and Tomebamba). Once a site of strategic importance which is why the native population built a settlement here called Pumapungo.
Nowadays it is a quiet place where people go to relax or do sports. Very pleasant and peaceful ambiance even during the weekend when locals rent a paddle boat at the pond in the center of the park. I particularly liked the trail along the river banks which is a bit wild. Hard to imagine this place was once the scene of a devastating flood in 1950.

De los lugares de Cuenca que e con visitado les recomiendo este si buscas. Hasta un gran ambiente sonoro. Pues al estar dentro de la ciudad .pero a su vez lejos de él tráfico vehicular. Lo hace muy especial

This is a large and beautiful park that makes you feel like you are far away from a city. There are waterways and a lake. Well groomed tree/grass areas, and wild tree patches beside the river. They wisely embedded rows of stones in the hillside at the edges of the river, so people can sit and peacefully gaze at the river, or wade in the edge of the river. The boardwalk takes you along the prettiest wildest areas, walking above the water and meadows. There is also a nice playground area. Lots of people have their dogs on leashes, and families with children have plenty to do there. A few vendors on the outer edges of the Parque provide drinks and fruits and snacks if you want them.

When you enter Parque de Pariso, you get the feeling th you have journeyed into the countryside. Soccer, know as football here, fields, walking paths, food area where you can grab a delicious lunch, bike riding area for the kiddies that resembles a city street complete with traffic signals and a policeman. The gem in this beautiful park is the large pond with an island in he center that is a safe haven for a variety of water fowl and on most weekends you can enjoy guiding a rented paddle boat around the pond and feed the birds up close. Wonderful way to relax and enjoy the laid back lifestyle that is Ecuador.

Si te gusta la naturaleza, disfrutar del aire puro y una hermosa vista, no debes perderte este parque. Cerca está la unión de los ríos Tomebamba y Yanuncay muy hermoso!

Der Parque Paraiso ist ein kurzer Abstecher, wenn eine Pause von der (sehr schönen) großen Stadt Cuenca gebraucht wird. Mit gut instand gehaltenen Wegen, schönen Pflanzen und großen Bäumen sowie Mülleimern in regelmäßigen Abständen, bietet der Parque ein schönes Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass insbesondere bei schönem Wetter auch ein PIcknick mit der ganzen Familie auf einer der Liegewiesen zu empfehlen ist.
