Kenko Adventures made our trip to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley fantastic! From start to finish, communication was easy, and they were incredibly responsive to all our questions.
Our guide, Elvis, was exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. He genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible and took care of every detail, including purchasing all the necessary entrance and transportation tickets.
David, our driver, was fantastic as well. He navigated us safely throughout the Sacred Valley, and we always felt comfortable and secure. Thanks to Elvis and David, our trip was smooth, stress-free, and filled with incredible memories.
If you're looking for a top-notch tour company in Peru, look no further than Kenko Adventures. Highly recommend!

This was an incredible trip and Elvis made it an even better experience. The trail was closed by the Peruvian government due to rain and he quickly pivoted to ensure we did something just as great. He was communicative, knowledgable, passionate about the history, and very accommodating throughout the 2 days. Every detail was very organized and executed perfectly, including the meeting times, time spent at each site, tickets for each individual site/transportation mode and Elvis was always on time and prepared with enthusiasm and a great plan. I highly recommend KENKO Adventures if you are looking for a full-service Machu Picchu tour.

Kenko provided excellent service. They were very attentive and responsible along the way. This along with the beauty of Machupicchu made my trip unmatched. Really, thank you especially to our guide Elvis, for his great work.

I feel very happy to have used Kenko adventures for me hike to the colorful mountain, I had the opportunity to have a very good weather and took many spectacular photos.
The food was delicious during our tour.
Everything was very well organized!

I travelled to Perú Last year and I was searching online for a good tour company. I fund Kenko Adventures online, they were really good respondíng all my questions about the classic Inca trail tour to Machu Picchu and I finally decided to go with Them.
I am super happy use Kenko because everything was well organized from the beginning to the end.
Edwin was our tour guide, He was very profesional and had so much information for our group of 4 People.
The food was amazing and so delicious, the presentation of each meal was very nice and Kenko team was very friendly.
I recommended kenko adventures for anyone for your future trip they are really professionals.

While sitting comfortably in camping chairs, looking out at the majestic Andes, and getting to know each person of our little group of 4 hikers, my partner and I felt grateful we had chosen Kenko adventures for our Machu Picchu tour. We were very late to book our Inca trail trek but Elvis, the owner, was very prompt in answering our questions. Our guide Edwin was super respectful, knowledgeable, and really, a gem of a person! The porters were kind and efficient. They made an excellent team! Also, the cook Isaias was fantastic. He made us some delicious typical Peruvian meals, and more! The whole team was well organized. They made sure we made it to Machu Pichu (and home!) safe and happy! I would 100% go on another adventure with this young local company! I keep nothing but good memories with Cory, Hedy, Alex, Edwin and the team, and Pachamama of course ;)!

Let me start by saying Elvis from KENKO team is amazing!
We used KENKO services for all of our time in Cusco including all our private transfers, a short Inca trek (2 days 1 night), a day trip to Humantay Lake, and a day trip to Rainbow mountain.
Working with KENKO was amazing! Our guide Elvis, and our driver David were super proactive, on-time and took care of us all along. I connected with Elvis asking about the short Inca trek and eventually added all the other services.
Private transfer: the day we set foot in Cusco, David was available the whole time to transport us anywhere we needed. It was a wonderful experience all along. Comfortable van with two backseat rows where my kids slept through our long drives.
Short Inca Trail: Our day started early from Cusco to catch the early train to Km 104 to start the short Inca trail trek. Day 1 trek was a little challenging and Elvis helped carry our kids’ day bags. Vegetarian lunch was included as part of the trip and it was delicious! Elvis was always kind to point out the best picture spots along the trail and he took several of our family pictures. The hiking sticks included as part of the tour came in really handy. Hiking through the Sun gate and getting the first glimpse of Machu Picchu was worth it! We took the bus to Aguas Calientes and spent the night at a local hotel. Aguas Calientes is a beautiful town with wonderful restaurants to explore. The next day we had a guided tour of Machu Picchu. Elvis did a great job again pointing us to the right spots for pictures. We highly recommend this company for a family friendly 2 days short Inca Trek tour.
Rainbow Mountain Trip: We booked a Rainbow mountain trip with KENKO and it was a memorable trip yet again. Elvis and David were on time in the early hours of the morning and the private tour vehicle was large enough for both of kids to sleep in the back seats and parents had comfortable reclining seats. Elvis knew all the amazing spots for pictures and helped taking some beautiful pics. This place is higher than Cusco, the air is thin and hike is tough, so we took a round trip on ponies. We were lucky to have amazing weather without rain or clouds at rainbow mountain. It’s a must see while in Cusco.
Humantay Lake Day Trip: This lake was stunning! Our day started early morning with a 3 hours drive from Cusco. Van was comfortable and the road was relatively smoother compared to Rainbow mountain drive. The hike up to the lake is short but challenging especially hiking after it rained. We opted for ponies for a round trip. The view of the glacier from the lake is phenomenal. We had ample of time to explore the lake from various points. The lake is a popular tourist destination so getting there earlier in the morning is advisable. On the way back we stopped at a lunch place that provided plenty of options. We caught a same day flight back from Cusco that evening. It was a long and tiring day but worth every bit of it.
Food: We are vegetarians and never had any issue finding decent food joints across Peru.
Shopping: We explored shopping both in Lima and Cusco. Both offer a unique experience. Make sure to sharpen your price negotiation skills.
Overall, we loved our time in Peru. It is a beautiful country, people are very helpful and warm. KENKO made it extra special by their hospitality!

Elvis was our tour guide. He had deep knowledge and was fluent in multiple languages. He lead us on a 7 mile hike (mostly uphill) leading to Machu Picchu. It was a challenging hike and done partly in the rain. Elvis was consistently kind and patient and added tremendous detailed knowledge. His team picked us up at our hotel at the exact time they said would - precisely, 4:10am. The experience also included a fantastic and entertaining train ride. Elvis and his team was a high point of our trip. Thank you Elvis and team!

We did multiple tours with Elvis across 4+ days in Peru - 2 Day Short Inca Trail, Sacred Valley Tour and Rainbow Mountain. Elvis was incredible in every way - he had so much knowledge of the history of Peru, Inca tradition, the vegetation, animals etc etc. His communication was excellent leading up the trip and while in Peru to prepare us for our tours. He was especially vigilant while we were at altitude to be sure we stayed healthy and could fully enjoy our time. And he was fun to be with! David our driver was also incredible - we felt safe at all times with him.
We learned of Kenko by word of mouth and are very happy we connected with them. I would highly recommend Kenko and the specific tours we did - they were all different, but amazing. Thank you Elvis, David and Kenko for a very memorable trip.
