Made a last minute booking with Carlos, we were worried that we wouldn’t get the proper circuit for Machu Picchu because everything was last minute. But Carlos and his team made it happen. The tour was amazing, from the pick ups to the very end. Everything was so smooth and the team helped us every step of the way. Machu Picchu guide was amazing, informative and gave us tons of time for photos and to admire the scenery.
We did the 2 day tour(highly recommend this one) and the hotel they put us in was perfect. Our trip to Machu Picchu was amazing because of this group. Thank you!

This small company provides great service. They offer their own private tours and the owner, Carlos Silva, will also book group tours for you through other tour agencies or a hybrid combination of a private & group tour. Even the parts of my trips that he arranged through other agencies were priced the same or lower than the quotes I got directly from those agencies.
I booked a day trip to Rainbow Mountain and a 2 day/one night Sacred Valley + Machu Picchu tour. The latter involved some complexity because the Sacred Valley part was a group tour but after Ollantaytambo the rest of the group returned to Cusco and I went on to Machu Picchu solo. There were multiple transfers involved outbound and returning to Cusco. But Carlos had arranged everything for me so the entire trip was easy and stress free. All bus, train & taxi transfers were arranged and explained in detail. I also booked my hotel near Machu Picchu through Carlos just for the convenience of it.
My private guide for Machu Picchu met me at the train station the evening before my tour and walked me to my hotel. Then she met me there the next morning to begin the tour.
Everything for both of my tours was perfectly planned and executed. I’ve been traveling 8+ months a year since 2018 and I’ve taken dozens of tours all over the world. The service provided by Vissionar was as good as any and better than most. And the prices are very competitive. When I return to Cusco I’ll definitely book tours with Carlos again.
P.S. if you go to the office and pay cash you will get a small discount for at least some of the tours. Maybe all of them.

I booked a private tour to Machu Picchu with Carlos. It turned out to be an unforgettable weekend. Everything was well organized and just perfect. I didn't have to worry about anything starting with the pick-up at the hotel.
The visit at Machu Picchu itself was magical. We were there very early morning and it felt as if we were the only people there. Such a great experience. I highly recommend booking a private tour with Vissionar.

Carlos the owner is very caring and super friendly. He helped us a lot, not only with the tour. He is always there to give you any kind of information or recommendation. He responded very quickly at every time.
The trek was one of the best experiences we ever had and we would definitely recommend booking the tour with VISSIONAR.

Che dire!!! Carlos, grande professionista!
Sono andata da lui tramite un amico e abbiamo organizzato 10 giorni in giro per il Peru.... che dire.... organizzazione, precisione e attenzione al cliente credo siano gli attributi giusti per definire vissionar, carlos e tutti i suoi collaboratori, guide, taxi o pulmini. Ho avuto dei disguidi già dal primo giorno causa scioperi, carlos è sempre stato in contatto con me, molto attento e premuroso e deciso a farmi passare una vacanza in giro perfetta, tranquilla, e al sicuro!!
Grazie per la bella esperienza e i suggerimenti e l aiuto....senza di te non sarebbe stato così bello e unico questa stupenda scoperta del Perù!! Volete girare? Affidatevi a lui!! Tutto quello che vorrete lui cercherà di soddisfare e superare ogni aspettativa!!! Grazie vissionar

Carlos set up a private tour for my husband and I (who are a bit over middle age) to Rainbow Mountain. This was hugely helpful as we could move at our own pace and had plenty of time on the summit. Carlos knew when to get us there without the crowds. It was an amazing experience!

Chez Visionar, on ne paye pas uniquement une excursion, mais aussi une prestation de qualité. Carlos a été de très bon conseils et d'une grande gentillesse avec nous. Il nous a rendu service au delà de son rôle d'agent de voyage et nous le remercions pour ça.

The most professional travel agency we have come across in Peru. While we didn't have time to do many of their tours, our experience in the office was surprisingly pleasant and the tour had no shortcomings. We went into the office without plans just to see what was available, and we weren't hounded or oversold on anything. We were kindly informed of all the options available with pictures, descriptions, and prices but without any pressure to choose. The service didn't stop at the point of sale, they were in contact via whatsapp to coordinate pick up and ensure our satisfaction after the tour. The tour itself was exactly as it was sold, with professional drivers and guides. We were very happy with the overall experience. If we had more time in Cuzco we would have arranged more with Vissionar.

I've been waiting for this moment since a year: standing on the top of Machu Picchu, in the month of October - month of my birthday. And the VISSIONAR travel agency made my dream come true. The service was excellent and the experience was one of a kind! Carlos - the owner - took care of every single detail. Everything was on time, very organised, the guide I had was extremely knowledgeable, always smiling and btw a good photographer ;) If you want to explore Peru, discover beautiful places with gorgeous scenery, experience more than regular travel agencies offer, book your tours with VISSIONAR!

Carlos was a very helpful & knowledgeable guy to chat to about options, travel routes and beyond for our time in Cusco / Peru. However, after the actual trip we booked with him - 5D/4N Amazon tour staying at the Ecoamazonia lodge in Tambopata - we can’t help but feel missold.
Group sizes were ~10 most days, and ~20+ one day vs. being told a maximum of 6 in Cusco. If you’re not able to make it near the front of a group of 10 in the jungle, you’re going to miss a lot of what you came to see…
Descriptions of the lodge standards - incl. food, common areas/ facilities, and service - were very inflated vs the poor levels we found over our 5 days - we were quite surprised at the lodge / staff quality (reviewed separately) and would recommend looking elsewhere.
We found ourselves in a mixed group of Spanish, English, and Polish speakers rather than an English-only group as discussed in Cusco. While it may not seem the end of the world, having your guide repeat everything in multiple languages every time means you spent a lot of time waiting, have less time for questions, and give wildlife even more opportunity to fly / run off. It’s not a reason to not do the tour, but just another example do the ‘embellishment’ we didn’t appreciate here in the sales pitch before we booked.
Overall, Carlos seems like a nice guy and has plenty of knowledge and experience in all things Cusco + tourism - we’d just recommend taking his enthusiasm and some details with a pinch of salt :)
