Pedalear en las alturas con unas vistas de un país maravilloso con unos excelentes guias que nos llevaron por senderos y parajes que no podíamos imaginar. Cuidaron de nosotras y regresamos felices a nuestro albergue

Carlos y su equipo son un grupo espectacular!!!! Nos han hecho pasar 3 días de pedaleo por lugares increíbles y un día de caminata por un sendero precioso!! Son muy profesionales, flexibles, engreidores, llenos de detalles y demasiado pacientes. Fuimos un grupo de 23 amigas y todas regresamos encantadas con su servicio.

Carlos , Aless y Coco han hecho que esta experiencia sea perfecta. Hemos sido 23 amigas ciclistas y hemos disfrutado de 4 días maravillosos montando bicicleta y caminando por los paisajes más maravillosos del cuzco.

We have heard about Machu Picchu and finally were able to arrange a visit at the conclusion of a birding cruise in Peru's Amazonia. On the three-day visit to Cusco, we spent a full day in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. A full day in Machu Picchu was perfect but an extra day in the Sacred Valley for birding and a second day in Cusco to visit more historic sites would have been perfect. Doris took the time to explain the historical significance of each site we visited and we have only been on one other tour where we received information that helped us understand the significance to the people of the area.

Thanks for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to spent time with you ladies in the Amazon and thanks for coming on this extension to see Machupicchu and other areas which are a must if you are in the Cusco area. Hope to see in another trip with Portland Audubon.

Doris is simply a wealth of knowledge on the birds and ecosystems of Peru. Very professional, very informative. Her tour of the endangered polylepis forest of the high Andes and its endemic bird species was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru.

I had an excellent day’s mountain biking in the Sacred Valley guided by Carlos.
Excellent equipment and really knowledgable guiding - we visited some lovely sights and Carlos provided excellent historical insight. Thanks!

Doris is a jewel among bird guides. She is not only personable and gracious but just plain fun to be around. Her knowledge of knowing where to find birds is superseded by her ability to spot them and her determination to ensure that you too get a good sighting. Doris’ love of her country and her people is infectious. Her knowledge of Peruvian culture is remarkable and visits to ruins, churches, museums or simply a city market is a history lesson full of details. What was intended to be a small group to bird and visit Machu Picchu, collapsed into a private tour of Cusco area with just me and Doris. The January rains collapsed the train track so after two days of birding around the Urubamba Valley, we headed back to Cusco. Doris’ ability to reconstruct our daily itinerary into a cultural tour was an unexpected delight - I learned so much. When my grandkids get a little older I hope to make a family trip to Perú with Doris as our guide. I know she’ll include points of interest for all.
