The house and the are is not bad, mostly to escape from the noise of Lima. The museum doesn't have much. I would have liked to have a bit of history about her.

Le museo de m del Prado, une merveille a découvrir, quelques photographies de l'artiste, des sculptures Pierre bronze argile bois, son atelier, ses outils, dans son ancienne maison. Le jardin est aussi parsemé de ses œuvres.
Petite surprise du moment, à 2 rues, 270 av. De Los incas, expo photo du 15 août au 5 sept 2019, dans El Palacio municipal y de la cultura de San isidro.... Pour El bicentenaire Peru 2021 : "El pais que imaginamos" 🙏❤️

Located in the Parque El Olivar (a true olive orchard) in the San Isidro neighborhood, this museum was the home and studio fo Marina Nunez del Prado, and incredible sculptor. Her sculptures are mostly of women, birds and bulls. Very evocative of Quechua women, often depicting stylized representations of women carrying infants on their backs.
Beautiful setting, many works and a lovely tour from Teresa, a painter herself who is curator and was a friend of Marina.

Lovely place of female Bolivian sculpture artist. Gracious, elegant sculptures inspired by the peoples and cultures of the Andes. Beautiful house and interesting works of art in the middle of a lovely ancient Olive trees park.

This museum is in the middle of a beautiful park, with ancient olive trees. The museum is light filled and airy, set in a lovely garden, and perfectly showcases the beautiful sculptures.
We were shown around by a very special lady who was incredibly kind, helpful and informative. We have very little Spanish but somehow she communicated the history and context of the work despite the language barrier.
It is well worth a visit to this sanctuary!

Ingreso libre, hermoso caserón en pleno Olivar, guía muy amable.
La casa y la exhibición en general está abocada a mostrar la vida y obra de Marina Nuñez del Prado, una artista boliviana afincada en Peru, casada con un peruano, amiga de Khalo, Mistral, Guayasamin, entre otros, y que se especializó en la escultura en basalto, guayacan, onix blanco y granito.
Su obra gira principalmente alrededor de las mujeres.

Valor artístico: 4/5
Imperdible.

Para los amantes del arte escultórico, una visita imperdible. Una belleza este lugar; la casa que perteneciera a la escultora Marina Núñez del Prado, en la cercanía del Parque El Olivar. Se recomienda la visita guiada a cargo de Lizeth, con su simpatía y conocimiento, nos introduce en un recorrido mágico por un entorno cargado de simbolismo y el buen gusto.

O museu já sai na frente de vários outros por ficar al no meio do Bosque El Olivar, que é um paraíso! Também cercado de oliveiras, o museu era a antiga casa de Maria Núñez e agora abriga suas obras e fotografias de família.
O tour guiado é excelente e não se estende além do necessário. Todas inspirações e materiais usados pela artista são explicados de uma forma leve. Na parte externa há coleções de esculturas e o ambiente é muito agradável!

Nice small museum in Olivero city park. Very nice area, great house-studio of Nunes Del Prado. Beautiful sculpture garden.

We, too, stumbled upon this house museum while walking in the El Olivar section of Lima and saw signs for the museum in the park. Her sculptures are very engaging and thought provoking.We received a nice tour in Spanish but weren't hurried. The house itself is beautiful and worth touring.
