We had an incredible experience on the Gamti Mountain / Bonilla lake tour in Albania, guided by Izet. From start to finish, he made our day trip unforgettable.
Izet was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring the entire family (including our kids) felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. His private car was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, adding to the overall ease of the trip.
What stood out most was Izet’s eye for detail—he knew all the best spots for stunning photographs and shared fascinating insights about the region, its history, and its culture. He truly made the trip engaging and enjoyable for everyone in our group.

You get to the base of the mountain by car and climb a walk about 2km, to another base, where there is a restaurant with toilets
From there forward the light climb on the mountain with part on stones, part on metal stairs.
The view is stunning
It takes an average of 40 minutes to the mirante. Approximately 1,200m altitude

Izet was a fantastic host and extremely helpful, going out of his way to take many photos of the group. The tour was great and Bovilla Lake and surrounding area is beautiful. We would highly recommend Izet and this tour for anyone looking for a great excursion whilst in Tirana. 5 Stars.

What a gem! Izet is outstanding! He just gets it. Photographer extraordinaire. A wonderful tour guide and driver, very knowledgeable about Albania and the area and just a wonderful man. He made sure we were always comfortable and helping us all on complicated terrain. We originally booked a group bus tour until I stumbled along a travel blog outlining how amazing this tour was and it did not disappoint. The value for money was excellent. The scenery was unmatched and we had the greatest day. We shared the tour with another two travellers and as a group we had an excellent time. Nothing was too much trouble and the pit stop for local fruits topped it off. This shouldn’t be skipped, book book book this tour!! At the end of the tour before getting dropped off, Izet said if we needed anything further on our stay to message him and he can advise.

Again beautiful day with Izet. Fantastically beautiful waterfall seen and beautiful views from the Daiti mountain. Izet was once again completely open to making the participants feel completely at home. In addition, Izet is a very skilled driver in the busy city as well as the narrow mountain roads. Thanks for the nice fruit. We had the pleasure of experiencing 2 beautiful trips with you, keep up the good work

We had a wonderful day in the mountains. The views were beautiful and we had lots of time to take pictures. Very comfortable car, allthough the roads were a bit bumpy some places.

The contact with Izet was clear and straightforward so we could plan this trip in the short term. Izet is an enthusiastic Guide with knowledge of the region. He showed us not only the tourist spots but also the hidden beautiful pieces of nature. At Izet, the participant comes first. All this has ensured that we had an unforgettable day with beautiful pictures as a memory.

Thank you Izet for a wonderful day! Communication was easy and we were picked up from our hotel in the mountain for a small additions charge. A worthwhile visit to the mountain and lake which we very much enjoyed. We recommend!
