This trip is for water lovers. If you love to snorkel and paddle board and don’t mind traveling for 6 hours to do it than this is for you. If you are looking for a no frills beach trip the water is beautiful. The islands are very nice . No far apart from each other but once you go to one island the others are very similar. I will give you a synopsis of my experience.
We were picked up in the morning in Toyota ( 3 row SUV) with 5 additional travelers at 5:30 a.m. We drove for approximately one hour and stopped at a large gas station convenience store for snacks and to use the restroom. This is your opportunity to eat the next meal is approximately 1:00 pm so try to have something to eat. We then drove for another hour and a half to the dock. We waited on the dock for about 20 minutes. We were given an assortment of fruit( watermelon & pineapple) as a snack. We then traveled to the first island, this took approximately 45 minutes, we stopped to pick up and drop off those who were staying on the different islands on the way.
We spent approximately an hour on each island and 20 minutes on the natural pool.
Bring a towel. Even though they provided you a towel they were not clean. The food was very good.

Amazing trip! So beautiful, each of the islands were a must see and the lunch was delicious. I would recommend the prawns and pineapple juice drink to everyone!

I was concerned that the weather would be bad bc forecast was cloudy every day for this time of the year, it was perfect (see picture). As of end of Sept, the final hour of the trip is about 80-90% paved. It’s windy, mountain driving that puts the SUVs to the test.
Cold Balboas could be bought for $2 on every island.
My boat had 24 passengers. I have never seen ocean water so flat and calm. No waves so sitting in the sand was perfect and the boats could travel very quickly without bouncing.
If you eat seafood, the fried fish is DEF the way to go. Even above the lobster.
Milci was my driver and a very friendly, nice and super safe driver. Naidi was my guide and was just as nice and professional. Remember to tip them, they work EVERY day.
Picked up right at 5am, got back to hotel at 6:30pm so it’s a long day. The beaches were among the best I’ve seen in the Carribean. This tour is the way to go, 2 hours at first island, 1 hour next island, 15 min at natural pool (but that was enough), 1.5 hours at island for lunch.
Overall, could not have asked more from a tour/tour company. 10/10!

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at the San Blas Islands! The water was absolutely perfect and the guide was AWESOME! I definitely return.

Beautiful little island (Perro Chico), gorgeous snorkelling at the shipwreck just meters from the shore. Awful, awful food unless you pay extra for the lobster.
A strange lady there who seems to dissaprove of women like me travelling alone, or maybe that's just how she presents, this is a Guna family.

The last hour drive isn't as tretorous as people say. It's now 90% paved and more like an hour roller coaster ride. Logistics weren't clear to any of our group but somehow our guide knew all our details and I ended up having a great time. We got rained on during boat ride back so pack chage of clothes in waterproof bag

Fue increíble!!!! Paisaje distinto, el cual contiene cultura y hermosas islas. La comida excelente y buen tiempo para disfrutar de las 4 paradas. Lo único, sería genial si el guía nos hubiese entregado mayor información, teníamos que estar preguntando hasta el nombre de la isla :(

Our tour organizers were friendly and accommodating. We stayed at an Airbnb house and they were still able to pick us up and drop us off. The tour itself was fun and educational. Our tour guide was able to answer questions and give detailed information about the indigenous experience.

First of all, the islands are very nice and so beautiful. Totally worth visiting them. But the time to spend at the islands was to short to really enjoy them fully. A lot of waiting at the port with no information when do we go where and whats happening next. This left us with less time at the islands. Therefore only 1 hour to enjoy one island. Difficult to go snorkeling, stand up padelling, play beachvolleyball, swim and relax on the beach. I would recommend making at least two days if possible.
The worst part was the driver, he was speeding all the time, not very comfortable on the bumpy road but not dangerous. But on the highway he was tailgating all the time with only one meter of distance at a speed of 100 km/h thats extremly dangerous. By the way the speed limit was 80 km/h. Clearly he wanted to get home early.
Food was ok.

La excursión es linda. Pero, me tocó un día de lluvia (15/9/2023) el mar estaba agitado Y ES UN PELIGRO NAVEGAR A MAR ABIERTO EN ESAS EMBARCACIONES MUY PRECARIAS. ME ASUSTÉ MUCHO. ESE DÍA SE DEBERÍA HABER CANCELADO LA SALIDA CON DEVOLUCIÓN DEL DINERO. NO VÍ AUTORIDAD PORTUARIA EN LA SALIDA.
