Fans of the Orioles and just die-hard baseball fans will get a kick out of the Aberdeen Ironbirds' home stadium. We got our tickets through an online marketplace and it included the children's all-you-can-play wristbands for Kidzone which included a bouncy house and speed pitch (which my boys absolutely loved!). We reserved for shaded seats on the 3rd base side (near the Kidzone). The concession stands are still somewhat overpriced but the kids' meal was only $5 and it includes a kid's hot dog, a kids' beverage, and a bag of chips!). They even have a Jimmy's Seafood kiosk which I nearly missed. All in all, the boys had so much fun and it was a great experience. I hope passing on the tradition of American baseball to the next generation remains strong, and it is Minor League games like these that provide that happy place for so many young future players.

My son and I were on an Orioles baseball tour of Maryland and the last stop was the Ironbirds. I made sure we had seats near the visitors dug out as the Braves were in town and we live in Georgia. The unfortunate part is that we in the end were unable to enjoy our seats and my 8 year old and I ended up standing near the Concessions and watched the game and fireworks from there. The problem was it was fireworks night and there were several youth baseball teams in attendance. The ushers didn’t try to handle the problem of kids running back and forth to empty front row seats and after about 45 minutes of my son and I getting stepped on constantly I went to the nearby usher and informed her of the situation, she looked at me and said your at a ballpark what did you expect and it was at that point that we relocated to the other side of the field. This unfortunately was how what had been an awesome trip ended so it really ended poorly.

The box office staff gave us great guidance on the phone, so we had perfect seats; everyone at the ballpark was similarly helpful. It's a great minor league ballpark, just off 95. We had a choice, on a trip from Virginia to NY, of stopping at Camden Yards, which we love, or here, and we were very glad we stopped here--easy, pleasant, inexpensive, hassle-free.

Went to the Brews and Boos event and had a great time, for both myself and kid. Kid got to decorate a pumpkin, get their face painted, and go trick-or-treating along the concourse, with "Hocus Pocus" on the screen afterward. Very clean ballpark. Team store didn't have much - we were looking for a stuffie and a magnet - but that's to be expected after the baseball season. Easy on and off interstate, a lot of parking. We'll be back next season to watch a ballgame!

Great seats anywhere in the stadium.. food lines stupid long due to good vendor u able to hire enough help. Some cases people waiting hour and a half. Not ironbirds fault. Blame parents raising lazy kids. Do yourself a favor and eat before you arrive

Stopped here for just a night on our way up the east coast with our two greyhounds. Such a cool setting with the fields (our room had a balcony that looked out over one of them) and plenty of places to walk the greys. The staff was superior, the room so super clean and a perfect set up. Breakfast service person was cheerful and provided good food, coffee and a smile. Need to say again - a really lovely place with a super team. Thanks MARRIOTT & Ripken Stadium!

First time playing a tournament here and only have great things to say. Everything was great from the breakfast to the desk employees service. Loved the facilities and the rooms were good. Extra pillows and blankets were provided with no hustle. Highly recommended.

Great complex for travel ball. Our tournament got cancelled this weekend but we stayed to watch the 12U tournament. Great place! Free to park and to get in. Plus you can bring in food and drinks. It was nice not having a place to rip you off. The store their had a variety of Ripken attire for good prices. Can’t beat getting a hat for $20 to $15. Can’t wait to come back to play.

The stadium is just fantastic. It is clean, easy to get around in, and is extremely family friendly. The concession food is good and the atmosphere is very upbeat. It is clean and it is well taken care of.

It may sound odd to visit a baseball stadium on a cold winter day, but the fact is, it provided a good opportunity to see the architecture and grounds. The design is modern, but the brickwork is also classic, but not monolithic with different shapes on different sections. Even the hotel next door shared the classic brick motif. Behind the hotel were recreational areas with several smaller baseball diamonds, a place for Cal Ripkin Senior's foundation, and a statue of Cal Ripken Junior who founded the Ironbirds team and the stadium on his retirement. The shop selling all kinds of team clothing and memorabilia was brightly lit, but unfortunately no salespeople were seen. Having scoped out the premises, I need to go back for a game when the season starts.

Public restrooms only. They do have handicap accessible stalls

We have a tournament upcoming at the Ripken Aberdeen complex, and are staying on-site. I was wondering what (if anything) there is to do at night with the kids at the complex? Are there any activities for when the kids aren't playing in a game, aside from watching another game being played?
Parents on our team seem to think this is going to be one big party at night for the adults, but there's no way our kids will have the attention span to just sit quietly (or even reasonably quiet) in the hotel lobby or outside terrace while the parents socialize for hours.
Any insight would be appreciated!

The is miniature golf and a soft serv ice cream place close by. Havre de grace has a nice waterfront boardwalk with lighthouse.
Must eat at Mammies in beards hill shopping center. All homemade Baltimore style

No I did not see anything. They sell food and there are a couple hotels with restaurants.
