This well and pump/water fountain were once one of the main water supplies for the walled city. It doesn't seem to work any longer, but it's situated in a small little square that is a nice stopping point during a walk through the Old Town. The metal work on it are intricate, and we enjoyed spending a few minutes admiring it before we moved on with our walk.

An old drinking fountain, now non-functional. Beautifully made and of unusual size, being much larger than an ordinary drinking fountain. But I don't think it's a not-to-be-missed landmark. We found it by luck.

I would have missed this had I not been with a guide. Worth a stop. Near the cafe with the umbrella's. Make sure you read up and now what you are looking for.

Наверное единственное место в старом городе с кальяном. Качество кальяна не очень. На просьбу добавить уголь ответили что могут только поменять вкус и это будет стоить 7 € (стоимость только углей будет тоже 7€). Не рекомендую.

Music is great there. There are live bands and DJ sets. Drinks are relatively well. But management and service is terrible. We were trying to book a table through the Instagram profile as was suggested by the waiter but we didn’t have a response. After that we came to the bar earlier to get a table and after ordering cocktails we found out that our table is already booked by someone else. There was no notice about that when we just came.

There some significant history about the well, as we were passing by and over heard a tour guide talking about it. The well itself is neat looking, but just a well.

This well used to be the only source of fresh water in the medieval town and was also used as a gathering place.

While the history of the well is interesting, I didn't notice it posted anywhere, so without our guide telling us about it, it would be nothing more than an old, out of use well in one of the many squares of Kotor. The history made it more interesting, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go see it.

Although well is no longer in use, it represents and paints a complete picture of how life was over a century ago. The well is located by Karampana Square.
