Ein kleines Museum in einem repräsentativen Bau, das vor allem Textilien, Keramik und andere Kunstgegenstände enthält, alles etwas lieblos nebeneinander gestellt und kaum erklärt. Viel gelernt habe ich wenig.

i have realized after this visit i dont like folk art...
if its your thing im sure it would be cool.
it was VERY inexpensive and they have a gift shop.
lots of displays and write ups but ONLY in romanian

Located in a superb building reminiscent of pre WWII architecture this museum offers the visitor a subtle but powerful insight into this area's rich art and history.

El edificio fue construido en 1893 y también sirvió durante un tiempo como Ayuntamiento, llamado entonces el Palacio Municipal.
Desde 1975 es el Museo de Arte Popular de Constanza.
Su contenido está en línea con la política de los 60 de difusión del arte popular de la región.
Interesante si te interesa el tema etnográfico, la institución organiza regularmente eventos diseñados para destacar diversos temas del folklore y la cultura rumana.
La tarifa de entrada es de: 8 lei para adultos.
Desde 1975 es el Museo de Arte Popular de Constanza.
Su contenido está en línea con la política de los 60 de difusión del arte popular de la región.
Interesante si te interesa el tema etnográfico, la institución organiza regularmente eventos diseñados para destacar diversos temas del folklore y la cultura rumana.

I visited this museum in December last year. It has a lot of interesting items; I admired icons at the ground-floor, rural items at the first floor and many other interesting and colourful objects. I would say that it is a very interesting museum both for adults and children; it presents nicely the exhibits and it is pretty complex. There is also a small boutique at the ground-floor where I bought two pairs of earrings, a blue for me and a red for a good friend. All in all, I recommend it to everyone who likes art, history, rural stories and who is interested in culture.

The museum is located in the old town. The building housing the museum is nice and well preserved.
The museum exhibits traditional costumes from all Romanian regions and household items.

About the Constanta people and the beautiful histroy that it had, it is very well kept and still no cars in the area.

En stor utstilling av folkedrakter, ikoner og fantastiske sølvsmykker. Utstillingen var i to etasjer. Det kostet 5lei for å komme inn og 20 lei for å kunne fotografere og det var helt greit. Dette museet kan anbefales hvis du er opptatt av klesdrakter.
