Best place to enjoy sea. Neat and clean. I think this area is much better then other sea front in karachi. Horse ridding, Camel riding was fantastic for children's. Keep your food and water with you. No Restaurant are available near here.

Hawks Bay is one of the main beaches of karachi. From the downtown area it is around 10 plus kilometres. Road condition is not tops but it is doable. The way the beaches work in Karachi is that the coast is lined by private beach huts. So you can own one, borrow from a friend or rent one. The beaches are public so you have to be careful that you are dressed accordingly. Bikinis for females are an absolute no-no. You can play on the sand, enjoy the water or relax in the hut and eat heartily. Remember to take a football, frisbee or cricket apparatus and enjoy. Normally you take food and just eat it there but nowadays some basic restaurants have also opened. Soft drinks can be bought on the way. In case you have availability of power, you can think of staying their overnight. Ample opportunities for a horse or camel ride, monkey, or a snake show also. Relax and enjoy.

A good beach to spend the day. Hawks Bay was a favourite beach since pre partition days. Being a gentle beach close to Karachi, it was a popular haunt in the sixties and seventies when the elite set up small huts with basic utilities for short sojourns. Huts still exist and one can rent good huts with decent facilities like lounge, kitchen stocked with utensils and crockery, bedroom, bathroom, verandah opening to the beach, car park etc supported by electricity producing generator, gas stove, underground sweet water storage tank, etc. Cars and vehicles are not allowed on the beach.
The water and the beach are lovely. The sand is golden and good for making sand castles. The beachfront is not too steep and allows for good swimming and wind surfing. The breeze is strong and sometimes undercurrents are also strong in the deeper areas. Novice swimmers to stay close to beach and void deep pockets. Life guards are present and patrol the beach. Best season is after September to March. Months to avoid are the monsoon season as the water is infested with Blue Bottle jelly fish whose long tentancles stings when they come in contact with the skin. Usually not harmful as the pain subsidies in a couple of hours. Local remedy is to apply salt and oil to mitigate burning and pain.
One needs to carry food for consumption as there are no provision stores. Do take ice in an icebox to cool drinks. Carry fruit and beverages too. Camel and horse rides are popular and an experience and popular too.

Excellent beautiful beach but must arrange a hut before going. No shower or bathroom facility. Cleanness below average

Well Well Well, No trip to any city is complete without visiting available sea coast. Karachi have a big one. No matter Roads are not good. No Infra structure at the sea too but still people loves it. Many huts are available to rent.

If you want time out from the hustle and bustle of Karachi's busy city life, but don't want to venture too far from home, Hawks Bay is the place to visit. If you can arrange for a hut there -- they are available on rent -- nothing like it, for you can then comfortably spend a whole day and savour the sounds and sight of the waves as they hit the shore, leaving behind gifts of shells and pebbles as they recede. Nothing more peaceful and relaxing than Karachi's Hawks Bay! And if you are visiting from outside Karachi then pick a weekday for your trip -- you will have the beach all to yourself! The camel ride and horse ride -- if you are into them -- are a bonus for you will find many enterprising souls offering you a ride for a negotiable amount.

Good place during summer, you can take your family with you, fresh air, you will enjoy it. Do not forget to take food with you.

Hawks Bay is the one and only proper beach of Karachi where people enjoy picnics. Because Pakistan is a Muslim country so there are no proper swim suits swimmers seen near the beach but it is much crowded because of visitors from different parts of country. There are horse and camel riding which attracts tourists. When you compare beach area of different countries, Hawks Bay is not specially developed but an ordinary natural beach.

You will need a hut here but the good thing is that the water is decent, the waves are amazing and there are alot of people on the beach

Not fully and it’s also not a good idea to swim in the sea in this rough weather bc sea is very very rough
Is it safe to go By road till hawksbay beach ??

Yes it is quite safe to travel there by road. Just for precaution, go there on the weekend or in public holiday, so lot of people around. Sometimes when there are not too many people around, there are chances that you will be caught by thugs or goons.
Is it open for visitors in coming Saturday and Sunday?
