Must visit place for history lovers. Well maintained building and interior with complete historical details.

An improved version of Quaid house museum after its renovation and reopening in 2018. Belongings were preserved well and arranged aesthetically good. The guide who was responsible for giving a brief on the history was in so much hurry. Take your time or else you won't be able to grasp details as photography and video isn't allowed at all.
The adjacent photo gallery of Quaid's memorable moments remains closed except for 14th August and 25th December. On these two days, museum remains closed and gallery is opened for visitors.

Located in the heart of Karachi, 10 min walk from Movenpick or PC hotels. Quaid e Azam bought this place and lived there for some time, and after him, his sister Fatima Jnaah lived there. A comfortable;e small house by the standards of the day, it nevertheless shows how the founder of the country lived his life. Well preserved and the tour guides are informative making the trip interesting. I had taken my son along and it was a history lesson for him.
A must-see if you are a history buff.

Its a very nice museum displaying personal belongings of Mr. Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Well maintained and organized. Enjoyed visiting it. Its a must-see.

Nice trip back in time, looked at the original belongings of Quaid e Azam jinnah sahib displayed wonderfully. 2 of his cars were also show cased. ideal picnic surroundings outside with floral parks & fountains

What a place to be? Since I am a great fan of the great leader, I took my children to see his residence. Definitely a historic place to visit, displaying the exquisite taste of Quaid e Azam. The refurbished cars, which remained in use of Quaid e Azam, was a treat to watch. Tastefully decorated house with artistic furniture, beautiful lamps & elegant crockery endorsing the touch of charismatic personality of one of the most respected leader of the world. A must visit place in Karachi

Affacciandomi da una finestra del corridoio del settimo piano dell'hotel Mehran ho visto dall'alto questa villa con vasto giardino per la prima volta. Ignoravo di che cosa si trattasse, ma aveva tutta l'aria di un edificio di una certa importanza. E infatti è la casa di Jinnah. Non si può entrare con la macchina fotografica e non si possono fare fotografie neanche col cellulare; la visita viene condotta da una guida che parla un inglese stentato e dà spiegazioni molto essenziali. La casa, su due piani, è arredata con gusto sobrio e raffinato, attenta allo stile locale. Al piano terra ci sono gli studi e i salotti; al piano superiore le camere da letto. La cucina è in una casetta a parte, nel giardino. Nel giardino ci sono due auto d'epoca usate da Jinnah (altre due sono nel museo del mausoleo). In questa casa ha vissuto anche la sorella di Jinnah, Fatima. Attualmente l'edificio è dello stato; la guida non è stata in grado di spiegarci come e perché non appartenga ai discendenti di Jinnah.

It was really good to see a museum well maintained in Karachi. The heritage building has also been preserved well. The place was the founder of Pakistan and her sister's residence. You'll get a free guided tour there and there is no entrance fee as well. Photography is not allowed inside the museum. Outside the museum, you can see the vintage cars that were in use of the founder's sister.
In short, a place you must visit when in Karachi.

When you enter the building accompanied by the very old guide Mr. Rasheed, you will notice like history is frozen here. Right from the drawing rooms, to the private area in first floor, all very well preserved. Amazing experience!!
And on top of that the guide told me that he has met Quaid e Azam and served Mohatatma Fatima till her death. He was disheartened by the people who takes less interest in the history of Pakistan.

We visited the museum on Wednesday in the early afternoon. I am not sure if it ever gets busy, because when we went, there were hardly any people. It was nice to see Quaid's desk, his car, his suits, historic photographs, learn a bit about history, about independence, etc. The entrance fees is nominal, but definitely worth seeing.
