Het was een behoorlijk intensieve klim naar boven, vooral vanwege de pollution die in maart over de stad hing. Eenmaal boven heb je een aardig uitzicht over Luang Prabang, maar daar is alles mee gezegd.

It was quite a climb to the top of Mount Phousi, but we made our way up one morning when it was not too crowded. It’s just 20k kip to go up (£1). The views from the top were great but we particularly enjoyed the very scenic walk down, which was filled with Buddhist statues and ornate decorations. Judging by how quiet our descent was (no-one else to be seen), we think maybe people miss the route down and retrace their steps.

It takes about 15 minutes to climb-up by stairway to the top of the hill. The pagoda on the top is beautiful. The highlight is panoramic view of Luang Prabang city with Mekong River. This is A Must thing to do in this world heritage city....I recommend.

Waste of time unless you can miraculously prevent other tourists from going up too. No point in climbing more than 300 steps to be amongst a crowd of 200 people blocking your sunset view. The same money for the ticket can get you the same sunset, plus a drink, in a more serene setting along the Mekong.

There's hiking to do, which suited me just fine. I enjoyed the exercise. It was not too busy when I was here. Nice weather.

Wir haben für den Eintritte 20.000 kit bezahlt. Der Sonnenaufgang war sehr schön und man konnte vom Aussichtspunkt sehr gute Fotos vom Sonnenaufgang und von der Stadt machen.
Leider war es sehr sehr voll dort und man hatte wenig Platz, ist aber trotzdem lohnenswert.

A visa lá de cima é maravilhosa, principalmente no por-do-sol. Só dei nota 4 de 5 porque a área lá em cima é bem pequena e fica muito cheia, o que torna a experiência um pouco desconfortável.

Para evitar tumultos de gente es mejor no subir al atardecer. Son unos 350 escalones subiendo o bajando y el final puedes disfrutar de una bonita panorámica

It's a brilliant walk up and down Phousi Hill - not always the most sure underfoot, so watch where you're stepping, but otherwise worth it for the scenery and views in all directions. We ascended from the main street side and went down the other; both sides have their charms. Entry is charged but is only really a token fee, and only applies if you enter from the main street side.

Beautiful climb up to Mount Phousi and lovely visit to the temple on the top of the hill. We had the most amazing view from the top and really enjoyed our trip.

It is 3 ways to climb to the top,one from night market, two monk school and Namkhan river, 233 steps, the speed depend of you, take around 20-30 minutes,

It's on the same street as the night market you just walk along the street and you will get there... a tuc tuc could also take u there..
