We were staying at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and they recommended we take a boat trip around The Palm and the Burj......they introduced Yellow Boat at the Dubai Marina and our captain, Shantha was excellent. He arranged a fantastic trip through the marina, on to the Atlantis and into The Palm. He was helpful, informative and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

I have questions and appreciate anyone who could answer it: Is it possible to use a personal inflatable row boat for fishing in Dubai? If so which locations are appropriate?

We took two trips with this company whilst staying at the Waldorf Astoria on the Dubai palm. First one was a speedboat sightseeing tour of the palm and Dubai marina which was excellent- got to see all the sights close up and great information provided by Thnsara our boat captain who was an amazing guide - loved every minute of it.
The second trip was the fishing trip taken by my partner and although he had never fished before he was delighted to catch a very large queen fish.
Special shout out to Thnsara who took time with us every day to chat to us and feed the fish - he was superb and is one of the reasons we will return to the Waldorf next year. Thank you Thnsara - we look forward to seeing you next year.
The second trip was the fishing trip taken by my partner and although he had never fished before he was delighted to catch a very large queen fish.
Special shout out to Thnsara who took time with us every day to chat to us and feed the fish - he was superb and is one of the reasons we will return to the Waldorf next year. Thank you Thnsara - we look forward to seeing you next year.

We were taken on a private tour around the palm by Shantha and Jamil. The tour lasted just over an hour, and we were taken to see all the key spots around the palm. Despite unbearable heat, they made sure we had an excellent experience on board, with plenty of iced water on board. Shantha and Jamil's hospitality cannot be faulted, we loved the boat ride from start to finish and it was our favourite outing whilst in Dubai. Thank you so much to both of you for such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be doing the fishing tour next time we are back!!

Just a note to say thank you to Shanta and Jamil for our boat trip around the palm on Saturday. It was a great way to see the palm and they both looked after my family making it a great experience. Would definitely recommend and hope to back soon. Thank you.

My partner and I took the 3 hour early morning fishing tour and had an amazing time.
When we arrived we were greeted by Abu our fishing guide and Shantha our captain. They were both amazing - really friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout.
Me and my partner are both beginners but it was no problem at all as Abu was super experienced and showed us exactly what to do. Shantha put us right where the fish were and we caught several really big Queen fish! I was hoping to catch a King fish but no luck this time.
Overall we had a fantastic time. The weather was great, the sea was nice and calm, the fishing was good, the staff were excellent and the boat was brand new and really well maintained.
If booking over the summer months I would definitely recommend doing the early morning tour to avoid the worst of the midday sun and our guides advised that the fishing is also much better in the morning.
I highly recommend TYB Sport Fishing. They are a really professional outfit and I will definitely be booking with them to do another tour in the future.

I am Brazilian, came for a short 1 week vacation. The deep sea fishing trip was great. They picked me up from my hotel and dropped me off when it was done. I shared the boat with 2 other passengers from the US. The boat captain Mr. Shantha was very helpful in taking us to the required spots and answer my questions as well as Mr. Abubakar our fishing guide led the way in every catch satisfying our curiosity about how fishing works. We spent around 3 hours in the deep sea and caught Barracuda, Queenfish and Kingfish. Even though it is summer and fishing is rarely successful (due to the heat), they managed to take us to the required spots. Plenty of pictures and videos later make this a memorable trip. Will definitely do it again perhaps in the winter season in Dubai. Many thanks to all that made this possible.

I did this trip solo as my colleagues were playing golf and it was great fun - we caught around 10 fish, mostly barracuda and had others such as queen fish hooked but sadly got away. Abub the fishing guide was great and on a choppy day the boat's captain Jamal steered us safely through some turbulent waves. A truly memorable trip and would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing afternoon fishing with abu and crew both of these gentlemen are very experienced fisherman as extremely friendly they put me right on top of some of the finest fish in the Persian Gulf thank you once again to these amazing people
