I did the two day overnight trip to see the temple ruins at Koh Ker. This was so so awesome. I had never driven a motorbike before, but after a quick lesson I got the hang of it pretty easily. I followed Chaan through scenes of village life, rice fields and ruins. He even took me on a mountain trail to see some hidden stone carvings. Water, meals, Koh Ker pass all included. My butt got sore sitting on the bike, but I loved riding so much I barely thought of it (and you can always ask to take a break when you need a stretch). I did not feel comfortable renting a bike on my own without any experience, so I am glad I was able to do this with someone to show me the ropes and guide me. Thanks so much Chaan! This is the only way to really see this part of the world and feel connected in a way that many tourists do not get to experience.

We had never rode a scooter before but our guides were so helpful in teaching us before we hit the road. They were so knowledgeable in everything and it is an amazing way to explore areas off the beaten track in Siem Reap. It was lovely to see the local Cambodian people and their livelihood.
We saw temples we would’ve never seen, ruin temples, local people, local markets, rice fields and more.
We stopped to get some water and fruit and they wouldn’t let us pay, very generous people!
I can’t recommend this experience enough, from pick up to drop off it was an amazing morning.

Just finished a full day with these guys, picked up at 7.30 and after a briefing, ventured up Kulan Mountain.
Hosts were fantastic , very patient and helpful.
Epic day, highly recommend. Price included everything, food , drinks, bikes and entry fees.

We had an amazing trip with Chan and Kdan, both very informative and were great help. We got to see all the best parts of Phnom Kulen in a great way, with being the only two on the tour it was great to do it at our own pace and be able to stop and look at the surroundings whenever we wanted to. Definitely one of our best days on holiday, thank you so much!

If you are looking for a tour in the real Cambodian countryside, do not hesitate and chose Khmerways! Thank you for this amazing tour that we highly recommand. We were 3 young women (26,32 and 34 years old), that had never ever rode before. Chan taught us very well, was very patient happy to teach us. We had such an exciting and memorable time, we miss it already.
The owners of the homestay were adorable and the house was so beautiful. They prepared delicious diner and lunch and were very welcoming. We were very happy and loved to share a beer with Chan in the evening,and to learn about Khmer culture. The trek in jungle was also a great adventure with a rangers.
We really hope to come again, thank you Chan!
(Ps : we found Kulen mountain's waterfall clean, compare to other reviews.)

Wow this was highly enjoyable and memorable! Did the half day tour. The guide was named Kdan. He is an awesome, easy going guy, and really is what makes this tour so special. One of the best experiences I have ever had. 10+

My friend and I have never ridden before, and this turned out to the be one of the best tours I've taken - anywhere in the world.
We went with Kdan and he was fabulous. He made sure we were comfortable riding and turning, before we went on the actual roads.
I had done a custom tour which ended up being a very long day. Kdan was absolutely marvelous, and a Huge reason our day was so successful!
Beng Malea and Kampo g Khleang were both more than worth the long day riding!

As I was the only participant for the pm half day tour, the guide Mr. Chan came to my hotel to pick me by his motorbike, back to their base a few kilometres away. Chan told me that we were going to do about a 60km run to the countryside and the villages, round a loop. The Honda Dream bike was easy to handle, yet with sufficient power to tackle the unpaved and bumpy backcountry tracks that we mostly run on during the trip. The fields and villages that we went by were so different to what you would see in the city area of Siem Reap. It was a well spent half day and totally worth the 30 dollars. Lastly, thank you Chan for sending me the wonderful pictures and videos taken during the trip. I wish I am able to do a longer tour next time.

If you’re a tourist thinking “I don’t like to see too many loud tourists groups”- Give Khmer Moto a call. If you don’t have much planned but want to get the most of out of your short trip to Siem Reap, give KM a call; if you wanna avoid the pub streets and see the real Cambodia, give KM a call! Our guide Chan has lots of patience listening to what we wanna see , and his vast knowledge in his country’s mythology, and secret paths to hidden temples made the trip very memorable and satisfying indeed! Places of interest includes

Hi,
I am travelling alone and spending about 5 days in Siem Reap. Three of which I think will be spent seeing Angkor Watt. Which tour with Khmer Ways do you recommend? A two-day overnight tour or a one day tour?
Did you recommend visiting Tonle Sap for the day or overnight? I will only have time for one overnight tour.

Yes and no... My wife never did scooters before and she was fine.
It's a scooter and not a motorbike that we used so not too complicated. They make you practice before as well.
If you are good on a normal bicycle, then I think you are fine.
