‪Outstanding river kayak tour in Patagonia‬

‪Our favorite part was kayaking among the ice in the lake below the glacier the third day of our tour. Our guide, Will, was the best guide we have ever had, (we have been on guided tours in Alaska, Scandinavia, Croatia, New Zealand). We had not river kayaked much but his expertise, knowledge, advice, support made the whole trip outstanding. He, Magda and Jen made our comfort their priority. Kayak en Patagonia and Hello Patagonia were top tier in responsiveness and service. They are highly recommended.‬

‪Last Trip Before Quarantine!‬

‪We experienced beauty on a grand scale during our 4 day kayaking trip. The quality of our 5-star British Canoe Union guide was not to be underestimated. Jeremy’s intimate knowledge of the waters we were on assisted in making this perhaps the single most spectacular trip we’ve ever been on. He was well aware of the currently water and wind conditions and was able to adapt our adventure for what nature provided. The meals that he provided were outstanding, especially considering that Jeremy was cooking in the backcountry. All provided gear was first rate including both the paddling equipment and the camping equipment. We experienced this trip in the middle of March, 2020 and Chile was shutting down while we were actually on the water. Nevertheless, Kayak en Patagonia came up with plans so that we were able to complete the trip. Would we come back? Yes!!! We’ve already booked for 2021.‬

‪I can’t say enough good things about Kayak en Patagonia and their sister company Hello Patagonia! We just completed a 9 day self-guided tour in Torres del Paine park ( the O circuit) followed by a day of kayaking on Grey Lake. Fabulous trip. Leslie was amazing and made everything so easy. She offered us 3 options: all refugios (except two locations where they only have tents), all tents with all gear supplied or carrying everything ourselves. Furthermore we could do half and half which is what we ended up doing-3 Rifugio’s (stayed 2 nights at Grey) and 4 campsites with all equipment provided. Other companies try to up sell you a guide which you absolutely do not need unless you really have no experience at all ( in which case you don’t want to do this trek at all as it is long and a bit rigorous) or you just want that service. Leslie was super easy to communicate with. Very prompt at answering emails. Flexible about our options. Organized. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I emailed her a bunch of general questions like how to get a SIM card or hotel recommendations and she was super helpful with all of that too. Plus she is just a really nice person which was confirmed when we met her in person to go over our trip the night before we started.
Bottom line both Hello Patagonia! and Kayak en Patagonia provide excellent service. Highly recommended!!‬

‪Friendly and organized trip planning, worth every penny‬

‪I first want to preface that my career background is 20 years in hospitality, concierge, estate management, trip planning and the vacation rental industry, so I have a lot of experience in the hospitality and tourism business. Leslie and her crew were A++++. We chose to do the self guided W trek with the full day kayak add on. I was most impressed with Leslie's willingness to answer all kinds of questions pre-trip, and she always got back to me promptly. We felt fully taken care of and confident in her organization and planning.

Side note for travelers, we highly recommend the bunk rooms or private bungalows instead of camping. Even if the camping is the only thing available when she books for you, you can ask for an upgrade when you arrive at the destination. There were a lot of cancellations due to weather on the O part of the trek so we were able to have a private room each night, even though we originally booked camping only.

This was one of the best trips we've ever done. Highly recommended! It was epic, and I would recommend Hello Patagonia to friends and family, hands down!

‪A truly perfect day!‬

‪I messaged Christian (company leader) a month before we went on our 1-day Grey River kayak trip and I was quickly impressed by the high levels of professionalism and kindness shown through his email communications. Moving closer to our planned date, we were given the heads up that heavy winds were in the forecast. Confirming later that our trip was a go, we were thankful for this heads up as it helped shape our expectations.

As a group of six semi-active, minimal-kayaking-experienced 20-22 year olds from the city, we felt completely safe with our guides Will, Ro, and Jeremy. Because of the wind, we had one guide to each double kayak and it worked out incredibly well. Our day contained the perfect mix of floating with the current and battling waves. In addition to the kayaking itself, the laughs shared with our guides and with each other were priceless. We also had loads of fun swimming in the river (in our drysuits) / eating a DELICIOUS meal and snacks / walking to see different sights / hearing the guides expertise on surrounding sights / etc...

In sum, I can not put into words how great my friends and I's day was. I can not recommend kayaking with this company enough! If you are want to have a good time while exploring a different side of Patagonia, I believe with my whole being that you could not find a better local group to do it with :)‬

‪Beautiful place awesome guide and great gear‬

‪You won't be disappointed. Will was a fantastic guide and let us out to the icebergs and down the River where we had a fantastic lunch. Unlike most outfitters the gear was new fit all of us great. Capped the trip off with some cold beverages and munchies.‬

‪We did the 3 day kayak and it had everything we hoped for and more. It was he most enjoyable part of our time down in Patagonia.

The guides, Jeremy and Rodrigo, were total professionals and kept us safe at all times while letting us push our abilities when the time was right. Both had a wealth of knowledge about the area and were a pleasure to be around.

The equipment is all first class. The camping spots, meals and little extras along the way really made it an amazing experience.‬

We want to thank Will who was our guide for the one day Grey tour and for making this kayak experience surely a one to remember!!‬
