‪It is my opinion that you should not wait for the guided tour from non English speaking guide. This old house has history which you can read online and see the walls and rooms with your own eyes, no photo‬

‪Breathtaking gardens and city views at a historic Castle.‬

‪This is a beautiful historial site to visit. The gardens are exquisite and lovely to walk through. Perfect for a picnic or walk about. You can pay for the garden tour alone or also include the tour of the castle. The castle is beautiful filled with historical furniture and antiques owned by the family that donated the site to serve as a museum. The balconies are wonderful for seeing picturesque views of Medellin. I am planning to return soon!!‬

‪Visit and enjoy the Museum Castillo ‬

‪I really liked the Musuem Castillo, I very recommended to spend a time and afternoon with your family, friends or couple. There was a castle, there was a garden, there were a lot of beautiful flowers and there is a restaurant.
When I went there were a many old cars, beacuse there was a exhibition of old cars.
People can do a picnic, in the picnic people can draw, paint, celebrate brithdays, play table games. Also people can be in the tour and people can know the history of the castle.
In the castle there were a many paints, there were things from other countries and there were a lot of books in other lenguages.
You can enjoy an afternoon free and relax.‬

‪Muito legal. Nao fiz o passeio dentro do castelo por questão de tempo, demora em torno de 3 a 4h o tour completo - cerca de 35 mil pesos colombianos. Para visitar o jardins e exposições que haviam no momento foi cerva de 15 a 20 mil pesos colombianos (nao me lembro exatamente). Vale a pena. Um jardim lindo e bem cuidado. As fotos ficam muito boas também.‬

‪Tourist spot in Medellin‬

‪The castle was one of our first adventures in Medellin, and we arrived soon after they opened.

My family spent some time walking around the grounds. The views are nice, but Medellin in general is full of scenic vistas. For us, coming from California, the garden was not particularly impressive (mine is nicer, albeit much smaller!)

The boys liked the antique cars, which were pretty cool.

We also went into a pavilion that had a number of plants, including orchids for sale.

After that, we planned to tour the castle, but we could not enter without a guide, we were told. We did not want to wait almost an hour for a 50-minute tour, so we let that go and sat upstairs on the stone patio for a while before moving on. ‬
