Historic, vibrant boardwalk. Great place to walk and take in the area. There are many restaurants and shops throughout. Also, colorful murals along the way. I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer.

Main reason for visiting Asbury Park was to see The Stone Pony. What a pleasant surprise to find it was such a beautiful seaside town. The Boardwalk was absolutely spotless, the beach looked amazing and the added plus of no smoking allowed on either of them. It may never happen, but if the opportunity should arise I'll definitely be back.

Asbury park is terrific. What a great place to spend time. The food in the local restaurants is excellent and reasonably priced for the shore. Asbury has a real vibe, not just with the vibrant music scene, but also the cross section of people who all seem to get along and respect each other.

We walked the Asbury Park Boardwalk on our trip to NJ and really enjoyed it. The beach was beautiful! Just wished there were more places open.

There are so many beaches in jersey shore and asbury park is one of the good ones around . Belmar , point pleasant and so many others . I like the boardwalk and shops around . Lots of places to eat and drink. Beach is good , especially in the evenings and sunset ! Parking is the worst thing here .. sometimes , we had to walk about a mile for parking spots . Even with paid parkings it’s crowdeddddd . If not for parking , this is a 5 ⭐️ spot . Overall a good experience though …

I love this place! Not super big but very clean with some good places to eat. Great pizza and ice cream and full service restaurants.

Great boardwalk with some fun side-bar places to walk into, buy a few things, eat a few things and play a few games.
The teens loved running around by themselves and shopping in the Convention Center and listening to the live music.

The water was beautiful and so was some of the local scenery. Unfortunately however, lots of garbage like cigarette butts and food wrappers strewn amongst the sandy beach. On top of that the occasional land vehicles and advert airplanes made it hard to even hear the ocean! Don't think we will be returning sadly.

Overrated. Overcrowded. Filthy. Expensive. Pretentious. I used to love Asbury but now I hate it. Don’t go.

Asbury Park beach has been a go-to being it is one of the closest to us Northern New Jersians. The boardwalk has some cool graffiti and decent food. Overall good vibe.

Can I order an Uber or Lyft from the Asbury Park train station to the closest hotels and Asbury Park Boardwalk?
I don’t want to drive!
Can I call for Uber or Lyft for the trip from the the train station to the Atlantic. City boardwalk and hotels! I don’t want to drive!

You can call Uber or Lyft but the ride from Asbury Park to Atlantic City is over 60 miles so it will be very expensive. Buses run from Asbury park to Atlantic city, but there are many stops so it takes over 2 hours.

Can you buy a season pass for Asbury Park if you are renting a house, but not a permanent resident of New Jersey? We are seniors and purchasing a seasonal pass at the senior rate of $20 each is more economical than purchasing daily passes. We can walk to the beach from our rental.

As a resident of Ocean Grove where passes are sold out, I've heard the workers on the beach telling folks to go to Asbury for their passes. Have seen long lines though.

I believe so. Google is your friend. I live in Florida but burn in jersey. Not sure about parking or beach charges

The boardwalk is definitely deserted. You can find good food and shelter, but the festive atmosphere of summer will be absent. I was there for NJ Marathon, springtime, and it was deserted.
