this is not an ideal place. unclean and crowded .since it was near to the resort one can walk in the evening.

Extremely crowded and dirty beech. Compared to the other beeches, this was a big let down. If you do not visit this place you wont miss much

Good beach to visit for a couple of hours, enjoy a boat ride to Snake Island, and enjoy some water sports

Very nice beach, not very clean. Coast guard always on alert so its safe. Nice place to chill out and enjoy the sunset, some shops around

Must visit this beautiful beach when it’s High Tide.
Otherwise you will experience rocks and boulders.
Lucky for us it was not crowded and we were able to sunbathe in peace.
Must carry enough drinking water as this is not always available.. we had a harrowing experience.

friendly crew of the boat. we opted for trianlge tour... the boat operator took good care of us and helped us capture good photos.. gave us all the time we wanted...

After visiting Havelock, Neil island beaches, I felt this is just a normal beach (my personal view). I felt the water is bit unclean than Havelock/Neil. If you have nothing to do in Port Blair then go for a time pass.

This is the beach for water sports in port Blair. It has shops and eateries. More like the Chowpaty of Andaman.
It's not a must do. If you are short on time, can skip. However, the drive to this beach is good and you can stop at the marina for some pics. There are some food trucks to explore too. Havelock is a better place for water sports in the season time.
If you are visiting during off-season, choose water sports (banana boat, jet ski etc not snorkeling) here as Havelock sports may be closed

Corbyn’s Cove beach is big disappointment. It is small (half the size of any beach in India), unclean and with no activities other than a normal motor boat. It is waste of time and can be avoided.

INR 500 is the price for jetski, i heard that there is a ticket priced at 600 where they will allow you to steer the ski. I took the INR 500 one so npot sure abut the other one.

Yes, Corbyn's Cove Beach is much better than Wandoor Beach.
In Corbyn's Cove beach water activities like Banana Boat, Water Bike... etc. were available.
But in Wandoor beach, because of an incident of a Crocodile attack, this beach was ignored by the tour operators..

hai , I m visiting Andaman islands fr abt 5 days. I m foodie I wana know is there any foods and shops tht I should definitely. trying out the food tht is famous in Andaman would make my trip complete😇 . I m also visiting Corbin cove Beach Neil island,laxmanpur, Havelock, radhanagar, North bay . Suggestions please

If you like sea food you will have plenty of options though bit costly. We had dinner at ''Wild Orchid" in Havelock. They have an ice -tray with catches of day displayed. You can choose and ask the Chef to cook it as per your taste. Go with an open mind and try out the street food the locals sell. We enjoyed everything.

Yes they have only jet ski there nothing else take you for a ride to an island about a km away

Hi,
Am planning to visit Andaman's during Christmas vacation. Turns out the cellular jail is closed on 25th and am left with nothing to do for 25th evening because of that. Do you recommend a visit to Corbyn's Cove? My children are very fond of beaches and love playing in the water. How safe is it for kids to play on the shore? I am worried as I read about "crocodile spotting" and "strong currents" in some of the reviews

How difficult would it be to visit this place with an old traveler who has problem with walking for longer distances? How far do we have to walk to reach here once we get down from the car?

It is very friendly for old traveller. Car can be taken very near to beach and the water line is hardly 100 M from road.

Corbyn's cove is good for an afternoon visit. Not really a sporting place. Elephanta Beach, Havlock has all those banana boat, speed boat, jet ski. Jolly buoy is best for snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride and I would suggest North bay for scuba.
