Красивое место с видом на весь город, но берите носки, т.к. босыми ногами по горячим ступеням некомфортно. Телефоны не пускают.

Birla Mandir is near to Lakdi-ka-pul and Assembly Hyderabad metro station. Birla Mandir is well connected by TSRTC buses and MMTS. The nearest MMTS station is Lakdi ka pul. Bus No: 5K,5S,5 From Secunderabad to Mehdipatnam any bus no. 113 from Uppal to Mehdipatnam.
Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The construction took 10 years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir....
The temple manifests a blend of Dravidian, Rajasthani and Utkala architectures. It is constructed of 2000 tons of pure white marble. The granite idol of presiding deity Lord Venkateswara is about 11 ft (3.4 m) tall and a carved lotus forms an umbrella on the top. There is a brass flagstaff in the temple premises which rises to a height of 42 ft (13 m). The temple does not have traditional bells, as Swami Ranganathananda wished that the temple atmosphere should be conducive for meditation.
Apart from the main shrine, the consorts of Lord Venkateswara, Padmavati and Andal are housed in separate shrines. The temple also has separate shrines for various Deva and Devi including Shiva, Shakti, Ganesh, Hanuman, Brahma, Saraswati and Lakshmi. Selected because teachings of men and Gurbani are engraved on temple walls. Birla temples are open to all, as identified by Mahatma Gandhi and other Hindu leaders.

एक श्रेष्ठ विष्णु भगवान एवं हनुमान जी को समर्पित मंदिर है ।हैदराबाद में एक ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित है ,कंपाउंड में घुसते ही भव्यता का आभार होता है। कंपाउंड में दाएं हाथ पर चक्रधारी भगवान से दर्शन होते हैं बाई ओर मोबाइल और फ्री जूता स्टैंड है। फोटोग्राफी बिल्कुल मना है जूता स्टैंड के पास ही मंदिर क्योंकि पहाड़ी पर है मंदिर जाने का मार्ग है थोड़ी सी चढ़ाई और बड़ी समतल सीडीओ के साथ एक मंजिल तक जाना होता है जहां बजरंगबली के 2 मंदिर हैं इन पर आप प्रसाद फूल मालाए अर्पण कर सकते हैं जो कि मंदिर परिसर में उपलब्ध नहीं है, मंदिर के बाहर पूजा सामग्री बेचने वाले हैं ।चढ़ा हुआ प्रसाद यही छोड़कर ऊपर मुख्य मंदिर जाना होता है जहां किसी प्रकार का चढ़ावा फूल मालाएं धूपबत्ती की मनाई है सीनियर्स के लिए यही से लिफ्ट है जहां से ऊपर जा सकते हैं तथा सीढ़ियां भी हैं मुख्य ग्रह गर्भ ग्रह भव्य और ऊंचाई पर है जहां विष्णु भगवान का भव्य विग्रह है जहां भव्यता और शांति का आभास होता है। गर्भ ग्रह के बाहर पूरा हैदराबाद का नजारा दिखता है। मंदिर प्रांगण में अल्पाहार की एक दुकान भी है।

This is one of my favorite places in Hyderabad. The details are quite elaborate and there are many sculptures to appreciate, as well as a lovely view of the Hyderabad city from the top.
Mobile phones are not allowed inside, but you can leave it in the cloak room and take a number.

Shoes off. Mobile phones no no. The temple is not any grand architectural piece of tourist interest. It's just another temple for devouts obsessed with temples. If you're not in that category put it last on your list.

Beautiful temple and spectacular view of the lake and surroundings from the top. Does not allow photography so cell phones cannot be brought along.

Very beautiful temple on a hillock. Avoid going around noon time, as the marble gets really hot under the sun. Worth a visit if you have good enough time in your itinerary.

Religion is an individual choice. Going to this particular temple is your choice. I am a Hindu by religion but always interested to know what other religion has to teach me. I want to cross borders of my religion as well as my knowledge. Purpose of visiting any temple is not to stand in front of the God with long list of demands, but to regain inner peace. That is what I found in this temple.

They have a counter where you have to deposit mobile and one token is issued to you. For delivery you just give back the token for getting back your mobile. It is safe and trouble free.

All the things people answered and Necklace road, Which is kind of a walk along the Tank Bond and a selfie at "LOVEHYD".
How much time will it take to visit the temple? I can reach the temple by 8 a.m.

Reaching Birla Temple at 8.00 Am - you should complete your darshan and look around in about half an hour. However if you plan to visit the science museum and the planetarium - do note these open only by 10.30 AM.

Yeah teme opens by 7 AM and closes by 9 PM. it remains close in the afternoon as well that's in between (12/1 -3/4).

The distance between Birla Mandir and Hyderabad Airport is approx 30 to 31 kms.
I am visiting here only for one day what the main and famous tourist attraction which I covered in full day. And which is best place to take hotel if possible I like to take near airport will it good or not.

Hi,
Staying near Airport won't solve the issue as city is far off as much as 1 1/2 hrs away..so would be best you can put yourself in city to relax n freshen.lake can be seen while moving ..can be stopped for sometime and enjoy the view.Birla Mandir is good option if fond of architecture and on spiritual side.Charminar is just to see as traffic congestion..so plan while moving to see points..NTR garden is good option but make sure you early.surely try Paradise Biryani..if non veg lover..otherwise not worth trying veg one..
I completed Day1 in Ramoji film city .so which spot should I visit in day2 .& I have day3 upto 4pm .can you suggest me trip plan for day3 & day 2.

You can just google the "City Tour of Hyderabad". Rs. 500-600. they will take and you can just visit all possible places in Hyderabad. That would be the best you can do to spend leisure time in Hyderabad.
